Their unparalleled speed and noisy sound gave them an overwhelming presence, but listening to their music again, one can sense a sense of style and breath that does not end with hardcore. The album "Critical Exploder" is a masterpiece, and the band has reached a point of maturity in terms of both sound and music. Although the band has reached nirvana and regrettably disbanded, we are truly happy to have been able to leave our mark on the world.

東京爆裂STRAIGHT AHEAD HARDCORE、Exclaimのディスコグラフィーが未収録となっていた名作アルバム"Critical Exploder"やコンピレーション楽曲を追加し、新装リリース。80年代のハードコア黎明期から爆発的に隆盛を極めた日本のハードコアシーンにおいて、90年代後半にはFAST、POWER VIOLENCEの風が吹き荒れた。その中心にいたのがExclaimである。桁違いのスピードとノイジーなサウンドで圧倒的な存在感を放っていたが、改めて聴くとハードコアだけに終始しないセンスや息遣いを感じられる。今回追加収録となった傑作アルバム、"Critical Exploder"ではバンドとして円熟味を増し、サウンド、楽曲共に一つの到達点を迎えた。涅槃に至り、惜しくも解散したが、その足跡を残すことが出来たことを心から嬉しく思う。
