CLUBにて開催されたワンマン公演〈金襴緞子〉を完全収録したもので、当日の二部構成のステージを2枚のCDにパッケージした。ハードでアッパーな側面をまとめたディスク1を「躁」、ダークでミドルテンポの曲をまとめたディスク2を「鬱」と名付けてある。サイケデリック、プログレ、へヴィ・ロック、歌謡曲などを、貪欲に昇華した不気味な魅力に溢れた音楽性で、昭和40年代のアングラっぽさを想起させる部分も強く、その演奏のオリジナル曲が持つ説得力は、ゆらゆら帝国以降の現代のロックの良心を継承しているものだ。
