Plot: A junior high school student Hikaru enjoys taking balloon with his parents, but has a minor collision with Esuper alien, and the balloon crashes. In this accident, Hikaru's parents died but he is miraculously survived. With this accident as a start, Hikaru starts helping Esuper aliens from Giron aliens who break down the home world of Esuper aliens. . .

「イー・エス・パー!」の声で七つの能力を持つ強化服を装着、光速エスパーに変身!いまだに特撮ファンの間で話題にのぼることの多い特撮ヒーロー作品「光速エスパー」がDVD-BOXで登場!! 中学生・東ヒカルは両親と一緒に気球に乗り遊覧飛行を楽しんでいたが、エスパー星人と接触事故を起こし気球は墜落してしまった。ヒカルの両親は死亡したが、ヒカルは奇跡的に一命を取りとめた。 母星をギロン星人により破壊されていたエスパー星人は、事故死したヒカルの両親の姿を借りて、光波エネルギー研究所の強化服制作に力を貸し、強化服を完成させた。そして、七つの能力を備えた強化服を着たヒカル少年は、"光速エスパー"と命名され、水爆戦争を起こして地球を侵略しようと企むギロン星人から、地球を守るために出動する! 当時、中学2年生であった主演の三ツ木清隆の初々しい演技は、先行する「ウルトラマン」や「マグマ大使」とは違った、等身大の親しみやすい身近な存在のヒーローとして子供たちに受け入れられ、大ヒットした。 全26話収録。 解説書 (未公開写真入り)、ブロマイド封入。
