TVアニメ「あひるの空」エンディングテーマとして現在も放送中の「太陽ランナー」や、自身が初主演声優を務め話題となったTVアニメ「トライナイツ」主題歌の「無限のトライ」をはじめとした、全11曲を収録。今作のタイトルである「=+」(イコールプラス) には、誰もが日常のあらゆる出来事をプラスに転換できる力を持っていて、どんなに苦しい出来事があってもいい方向に向かう瞬間が必ず訪れる、という想いと希望を込めたものとなっている。初回限定盤のDVDには「太陽ランナー」のMusic Videoの他、"「=+」Behind The Scene"と題した、MVのメイキング映像やレコーディングの裏側など、今回のアルバム制作を通じて、常に音楽と真摯に向き合い苦戦しながらも挑戦を続ける姿や、タイトルの「=+」にちなんだ無茶振り企画に挑戦しているバラエティコーナーも収録されており、本人の"素顔"がうかがえる貴重な映像となっている。
