日本で活躍するアメリカ人ギタリスト、ジェシ・フォレストの1stリーダーアルバムが待望のリリース!2010年より日本へ移住、大阪を拠点に活動をするギタリスト、ジェシ・フォレストの1stアルバムは、本人の作曲によるジャズをベースとした非常に質の高いポップチューンが並ぶソングブックとなった。ボーカルはアメリカから活動を共にするシンガーの東かおる。ピアニストの西山瞳との共作『Travels』では、通常ボーカル曲ではやらないような難解なメロディラインの曲を歌い上げ評判となったが、今作ではキャッチーなメロディラインを伸びやかに歌い新たな魅力をみせる。他の参加プレイヤーも大阪を拠点に活動する若手の実力派揃いで、ジェシ・フォレストのサウンドを豊かに表現する。今作はギタリストであり、作編曲家としても活動するジェシ・フォレストの才能がいかんなく発揮されており、一聴するととても聴き心地のよいジャジーなポップチューンであるが、流麗なメロディラインと豊かなハーモニー、秀逸なホーンセクションやリズムのアレンジなど、高いクオリティのサウンドを披露している。
