Symphony ''Dragon Quest I, II''

I recall my first playthrough of DQ (20 or so years ago), its songs were incredibly beautiful and catchy. I could hum their melody right away after first run. Its beauty stays true still even by today standard. This album offers you both DQ1+2's songs in their orchestra edition, performed by the London Philharmonic. As a symphonic, their songs have never been better. The Roto's theme has never been this heroic/ dramatic. DQ1's town theme has never been so much beautiful, yet contains additional gimmicks in melody. "Ladatom Castle" and "Unknown World" theme renders warm (a bit lonely) & nostalgic feeling. As for DQ2, "Endless World" is very nice especially for its last section presented the overworld theme (after all 3 prince/ princess joined, later). "My Road My Journey"'s melody is so good, where you can hear the origin of DQ4's town theme here, really. Anyway, I admit that I don't love all songs in DQ1+2, several songs are below average compare to later DQs', in my view. For this recording, being performed by the London Philharmonic, mastering SBM, conducted by Koichi Sugiyama himself (always) - if you don't feel all these guarantee their worthiness, I don't know what else would.
