Chik'nhood

[Machine Translation] This is the debut album of Chik'nhood, formed around Kaichi ( Vo ), who is half Japanese-Filipino and has experience studying abroad in LA. The sensibility that they have absorbed and exhaled from foreign music has blossomed into a sound of such perfection that it is hard to believe that they are a new band, and their talent has blossomed. The wide range of music is based on alterna, grunge, and American rock, but also includes edgy, emotional sounds, Hawaiian-inspired songs, and even four-strike electro tracks. While retaining a "Western" feel, the band actively incorporates not only English lyrics but also Japanese lyrics to amplify their popularity.

日本のフィリピンのハーフでLAへの留学経験を持つKaichi(Vo)を中心に結成されたChik'nhoodのデビューアルバム。海外の音楽を吸収し、そこから吐き出される感性は、新人バンドとは思えない完成度のサウンドとなって、その才能を開花させている。楽曲の幅は広くオルタナ、グランジ、アメリカンロックを基に、エッジの効いたエモーショナルなサウンドやハワイアンテイストあふれる楽曲、さらには四つ打ちのエレクトロな楽曲も収録。"洋楽っぽさ"を残しつつ、英詞のみならず日本語詞も積極的に取り入れ、ポピュラリティを増幅させている。
