From the first track, the unique catchy melody line and sense of humor of "Fairy Tale" are wrapped up in the sound making of the album, with influences from foreign alternative bands such as FLAMING LIPS, a favorite of mine, and other songs are filled with various rock tastes from the past and present. The second track is a surf rock song via TMGE that is full of manly manliness, as if to say goodbye to nuclear power plants, and the eighth track is a re-recording of a song from "Seishun GALAXY ep.", released in May 2009. 音楽の魔法を信じるファンタジスタ、おとぎ話がお贈りする、この世界を照らす12編の賛美歌。迷える少年少女達よ、今を駆け抜けろ!くるり、YO-KING(真心ブラザーズ)、髭といった先輩ミュージシャンからもグッドなメロディとナイスなキャラクターを絶賛され、チャットモンチー、andymori、踊ってばかりの国といった後輩バンドからも唯一無二のジャパニーズ・オルタナティヴ・バンドとしてのDIYな姿勢がリスペクトされるなど、特異な存在感を見せつける、おとぎ話が2013年1月23日に通算6枚目のアルバムをリリースいたします。前作&前々作のアルバムは曽我部恵一氏によるMIXで、曽我部氏が運営しているROSERECORDSからのリリースでしたが、今作は古巣であるUK PROJECTに戻り、おとぎ話の初期作品を手がけてきた岩田純也氏がミックスを手掛け、ドラマティックな作品に仕上がっています。アルバム1曲目から、おとぎ話の持つ独特なキャッチーなメロディ・ラインとユーモア・センスが、大好きなFLAMING LIPSなど海外オルタナバンドからの影響を感じさせるサウンド・メイキングに包まれ、その他の曲にも古今東西の様々なロックのテイストが詰め込まれています。2曲目は原発への惜別表明をしているような男樹溢れるTMGE経由のサーフロック。8曲目は2009年5月にリリースされた「青春GALAXY ep.」収録曲の再録音です。ニルヴァーナ、SUB POPを聴いた時の衝動をおとぎ話流に解釈。どうしても、今もう一度聴いて欲しいので再度収録しました。アルバムの最後を飾る12曲目では、この傷ついた世界を憂うシリアスで壮大なロッカ・バラッドからビートルズのジョージ・ハリスンを彷彿とさせるようなギターソロに導かれ、この世界を「笑い飛ばせ!」と明るく展開して終わります。こんな大変な世界ですが、なんとか生きて行く、光と勇気を与えてくれる、人間への愛情に溢れた音楽を作っています。ゲストとして、1曲目にLOSTAGEのボーカル五味岳久氏、7曲目に、おとぎ話ファンを公言する女性アイドル・グループ BiS のテラシマユフちゃんが参加しております。
