2012年Violent is Savannaのリリース第1弾は、2枚目のミニアルバム!! 3月7日から配信先行をスタートした「つなぐ」、その後にPCにて5曲先行配信を経て、パッケージを発売。「青春」をテーマにして制作した楽曲を5曲収録したもので、すべての楽曲においてJUDY AND MARY、GLAYなど数々の著名バンドを手掛けた佐久間正英氏をプロデューサーに迎えてのレコーディング。また続編となるミニアルバムも秋リリースを予定しており、ミニアルバム2枚構想の1枚目となる。札幌のch FILESというフリーペーパーとの企画で高校生と一緒に歌詞制作をし、NHK札幌「INFO H」にて特集された「つなぐ」、イオン北海道「イオンの楽宅便」TVCM曲「くだらない日々にさようなら」など全5曲を収録。
