MEMORIES - VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST WORLD TOUR Photobook

A little soft cover photo log, city by city, of VAMPS' 2010 BEAST World Tour. Scenes of VAMPS preparing backstage, the crowd anxiously waiting, VAMPS cooling down in the late night after and times in between...but mostly, you'll see here great shots of the fabulous VAMPyreS seducing and enthralling their fans, from the stage. As the BEASTs themselves remarked, the band hit the gym especially hard in preparation for this tour, making it the year of the Buff VAMPS. hyde, in particular, was very generous in sharing with us the results, proving it's possible to improve even on the divine. There are plenty of exciting and sexy photos of VAMPS in the flesh, in empassioned action, accompanied by more intimate, candid, and sometimes funny moments, behind the scenes. Very cool, also, are several pages at the back, of VAMPS' staff's tour diary, which I very much wish that I could read, but hopefully can find a translation. For me, this is one of the better photo collections of VAMPS that I've seen, especially of them live, so kudos to the photographer, Takayuki Okada, with art direction and design by Swingarm. One thing that did surprise about this volume when I received it, was the size. It's only about 21cm x 13.5cm or 5.75 by 8/25 inches. I only wish it were a little bigger, the better to gaze at VAMPS. I recommend!
