映画『プール』(出演: 小林聡美、加瀬亮、伽奈、もたいまさこ、ほか)のオリジナル・サウンドトラック。 この映画の中で小林聡美はプールサイドでギターをつま弾き、歌を歌う。ギターを弾き歌う人の役だからと、制作サイドの無理な願いに自らが劇中歌「君の好きな花」を作詞作曲して、その歌を歌うという無謀な試みに果敢に応じてくれた。主題歌には、ハンバートハンバートの佐藤良成の詩に、佐藤良成と金子隆博の作曲による「タイヨウ」を、佐野遊穂がプールの上に広がるチェンマイの気持ちの良い青い空にどこまでも昇っていくような、伸びやかな声で歌っている。それらの曲に加え、『めがね』に引き続き音楽担当の金子隆博が各場面にあわせ制作した楽曲を収録した全12曲。
