"MINAMATA" Original Soundtrack

MINAMATA" is a photo book published in 1975 by the legendary photographer Eugene Smith and his then wife, Irene Smith. Johnny Depp is the producer and star of this film adaptation, which will be sent out to the world from Hollywood. The film co-stars the famous British actor Bill Nighy and Japanese actors Hiroyuki Sanada, Jun Kunimura, Minami, Ryo Kase, Tadanobu Asano, and Akiko Iwase. The film's music was composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto, and the Japanese CD version includes an additional bonus track, "Minamata Piano Theme (from the 2019 Kumamoto Castle Hall performance)," the first live performance of the theme song. 伝説の写真家ユージン・スミスと当時の妻、アイリーン・スミスが1975年に発表した写真集「MINAMATA」。その映画化をジョニー・デップが製作プロデューサー、主演でハリウッドから世界へ発信する。共演は英国の名優ビル・ナイに、日本からは真田広之、國村隼、美波、加瀬亮、浅野忠信、岩瀬晶子。映画音楽を坂本龍一が担当。CD日本盤のみボーナストラックとして、テーマ曲の初演ライブ音源「Minamata Piano Theme (2019年熊本城ホール公演より)」を追加収録。ライナーノーツは、アイリーン・美緒子・スミス氏。repak仕様。
