I was very happy to see that this had english subtitles to it. It was very enjoyable. This dvd is yet another thing on my list that just confirms my respect for this man! He's amazing! His views on things are very deep, and I think, very encouraging and inspiring. I also enjoyed the interviews with the actors and others as well. I just wish that Furin Kazan would be subtitled as well. It also had some funny items, one where he's been picked on that one of the actor's was done for the day, and he still had 2 hours left to go, and apparently, according to Gackt, it was really hot out, and he let us know several times.:) And when he was trying to get the person that played Shingen to wave back, and he was saying things like, "He's ignoring me". It was quite funny. This is a very enjoyable dvd. I highly recommend it to all Gackt fans.

I adore Fuurin Kazan and Gackt`s role in this dorama. Very beautiful footage and beautiful Gackt^^ Gackt`s fans must be delighted this DVD)
This DVD allows you to see the taiga drama Fuurin Kazan through the eyes of Gackt, the introduction reveals why the producers wanted this young musician for the role of one of Japan's most revered historic figures known as The Dragon of Echigo. A highlight is the interview with Ogata Ken, who reveals an off-screen connection and friendship with Gackt, and how this affected their performances. Of particular interest to me are Gackt's thoughts on why historic dramas are relevant, and how events of the past influence modern Japan. Portraying Uesugi has changed Gackt's view of himself (or perhaps it is better said, reaffirmed) what he wants to accomplish in his life. interviews include scriptwriter Sumio Omori, Actor Tikuma Nishioka, and Director Kazuhiko Shimizu highlights the filming of battle scenes and how Gackt fought to do his own stunts on horseback. We see Gackt in training, and he speaks about his goals as an artist, end credits include Gackt on set and his farewell to the crew. This DVD is a must for any fan, I wish Gackt had not worn black sunglasses! The best scenes are of Gackt in casual settings, there aren't enough of these.
