フジテレビ"ノイタミナ"ほかにて放送中の「ブラック★ロックシューター」がDVDで登場!! 第2巻。 OVA版の設定をベースにしながら、黒衣マト/ブラック★ロックシューターと、彼女の友人となる小鳥遊ヨミ/デッドマスターたちの"友情"と"絆"を、よりセンシティブに、よりダイナミックに。インターネットから始まり新世代を牽引する一大プロジェクトは、今回のテレビシリーズで、新たな次元へと突入する! 春──中学校に進学したばかりの13歳、黒衣マト。天真爛漫な笑顔の裏に"誰にもいえない感情"を隠した彼女は、学校で気になるクラスメイトー小鳥遊ヨミと出会う。周囲に壁を作り、ひとり寂しげな表情を浮かべるヨミに、次第に心惹かれていくマト。マトが大切にしている小鳥の絵本をきっかけに、2人は距離を縮め始める。しかしヨミの幼なじみ・出灰カガリは、ヨミに接近するマトのことをうとましく思っていた・・・。そしてもう一方の世界。荒れ果てた廃墟の中で、マトは"ブラック★ロックシューター"と呼ばれていた。長く伸びた髪をたなびかせ、瞳に青い光を宿した彼女。その前に、自在に鎖を操り出すもう一人の少女が現れる。緑色の閃光とともに駆け抜ける彼女の名は"デッドマスター"。どこまでも広がる荒野で、彼女たちは今日も終わりのない戦いを繰り広げる・・・。第3話と第4話を収録。
