2011年5月、新潟で結成され、7月にデビューした4人組ユニットのRYUTist(りゅーてぃすと)。デビュー以来、毎週日曜日には欠かさずライヴを行ってきました。レパートリーは90曲となり、様々なタイプの楽曲に取り組んでいます。今作は、この夏にデビュー三周年を迎えるRYUTistの、「CD三部作の三作目」となります。タイトル曲の「Wind Chime!～街のトンネル～」は、RYUTistのHOMEである、新潟市古町を描いた楽曲で、この街とともに成長して来たRYUTistのこれからに向けた決意を歌った楽曲です。コンポーザーには、むらたつとむ、永井ルイ、Koji Obaの三氏を迎え、音楽的スケールを広げた今作は、まさに全曲推し曲です!
