[Machine Translation] The debut album by Roll Room, a solo project of Yutaka Ebina, is a sweet magic of sound that has arrived at the crossroads of fantasy and passion. The rich sound has its roots in electronic music, and is somehow reminiscent of a scene with a sense of song, via pop music. The album is based on electronic music that evolves with the times and gives a fresh impression, minimal music as seen in Steve Reich and Philip Glass, electronica, and post-classical music, as well as songs that have an aoey quality like the original landscape that everyone has, and melodies with a singing heart that gives peace of mind. The melodies, arrangements, and sound compositions captured in "Alive", the winner of the semi grand prix in the music category of the TOKYO DESIGN WEEK 2014 ASIA AWARDS, are spread throughout the album.
