Their 1st Mini Album "get over trials" released in May 2010 was selected as a smash hit by Tower Records' newcomer push program "Tower Records Men". 2010年5月にリリースされた1st Mini Album「get over trials」はタワーレコードの新人プッシュ施策「タワレコメン」に選れ、スマッシュヒットを果たした和歌山の3ピースバンド、Fated Lyeno。メロコアmeets ジャズとも言うべき独特のハイブリットサウンドとエモい歌とメロディは驚異の大型新人として各方面話題となる。しかしながら、音源リリースを経て東京進出を果たすがその時点でメンバーの脱退があり、定期的な活動に支障を来たすこととなる。その後も長年に渡り、メンバーチェンジを繰り返す試行錯誤の日々が続く中、中心メンバーのBANは一念発起し、その余りある巨大な才能を様々な活動を経てFated Lyenoの音楽に集約させる事に4年掛かりで成功させた。それが本作である。荘厳なギターカッティングで幕を開けるM-1「like the cloud」から始まり、必殺の泣きメロ哀愁メロディックチューンM-2「the lost song」、変幻自在の目まぐるしいFated Lyeno節炸裂のエモROCKチューン「black or dark」、静寂のアルペジオから一転し怒涛のアグレッシブなイントロを経て、Fated Lyeno初の日本語詞の「blue...」等、アクロバティックなドラムプレイとウネリまくるベースライン、躁鬱病かの如くかき鳴らすギターの鋭利なカッティングによる静寂と爆音が交錯する独特のグルーブに乗せた泣きのメロディが全8曲炸裂しまくるというトンでも無い1枚に仕上がっている。スリリングかつメロディアスかつプログレッシブかつクール!一連のラウドロックとも異なるオリジナリティ溢れるその爆音サウンドはFated Lyenoが本物のオリジネーターである事を雄弁に物語っている。4年のブランクを経て、再びFated Lyenoが音楽シーンに殴り込みをかける。間違い無く大きな反響を呼ぶであろう。
