Kumano Kodo

It was recorded in December of the same year with the best possible lineup, including Takashi Kako on piano, Nobuya Sugawa, the world's greatest saxophonist, as soloist, and Kim Seikyo conducting, along with a chamber orchestra of about 30 members. メインとなる作品「熊野古道～神々の道」は世界遺産への登録を記念して、三重県から06年に委嘱された最新作で、全4楽曲20分におよぶ大作。加古隆のピアノはもちろんのこと、世界最高のサックス奏者・須川展也をソリストに、そして指揮には金聖響と、望みうる最高の布陣をそろえ、約30人編成の室内オーケストラとともに、最高の録音をもって同年12月に録音された。その他、過去のテーマ曲として人気を博し、このALBUMのために再録音された名作を揃えている。
