DOES、1年半ぶりの5枚目のオリジナルフルアルバムリリース!! アルバムタイトルはKatharsivilization(カタルシビリゼーション)。カタルシス(Katharsis)と文明(Civilization)を掛け合わせた造語である。人間ひとりひとりの精神をさらけ出すことでより良い文明を構築し、更に先に進もうという意味が込められたアルバム。前作よりもポップで明るいイメージで作られた今作は、大震災により日本への意識が強くなり自ずと邦楽色の強いアルバムとなった。初ストリングアレンジを入れた「ライカの夢」、アレンジャーに田中ユウスケを起用し新たな一面を開拓した「ブライテンA」、困難に立ち向かう強さをくれるストレートなパンクナンバー「これからここから」、和ロックの最新進化系「サンダー・ライト」、ミディアムロッカ・バラード「ダンスホール・ガール」、エモ全開タイトル曲「カタルシス」とバラエティに飛んだ名曲ばかり。
