The Best of The Beach Boys No.2 [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [Limited Release]The Beach Boysthe best of the beach boys no.2
ok selection of songs. but the sound is great. this by far is the best sound available. i make a mistake on my review of beach boys "ten years of harmony." it came of 1 star, it should be 5+ stars. the web sight wouldn't take me trying to correct my mistake. all tracks are after pet sounds. this double mqa is one of the best sounding mqa's. good value. great sound. good songs. this is a must have. phil

In The Wake Of Poseidon [MQA-CD] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]King Crimsonwake of poseidon mqa
i agree completely with ed-usa. the first 4 kc's are absolute classics. due to mqa, it sounds like it was recorded yesterday. phil

In The Court Of The Crimson King [MQA-CD] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]King Crimsonin the court of the crimson king
wow! wow! wow! yes, the 2010 remaster by steve wilson was great. it was on dvd. this kicks it up several notches. a recording of a new group in 1970. i have bought every incarnation of this record. it is my favorite album of all time. no idea how many times i've listened to this album. everyting is clearer, sharper, and separated. greg lake (lord rest his soul) should be here to hear this. amazing. i would pay 28,000 yen for this mqa. with robert fripp's vision and the clarity of the mqa, it just can't get better. get it. phil

Ten Years of Harmony [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [Limited Release]The Beach Boysten years of harmony
wow! another mqa masterpiece. this double disc has some hits and some average songs. still a wonderful listen from beginning to end. you close your eyes and you are in the studio with all the boys. mqa is the biggest inprovement to my ears since stereo 70 or so years ago. use "rock and roll music" to dazzle your friends. phil

This Is The Moody Blues [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [Limited Release]The Moody Bluesthis is the moody blues
this is my most listened to group. mqa is the best. 10 to 25% better. more defined instruments, mellotron, vocals. clearer more defined sound stage. this album changes the first seven moodies albums sequences. it's a nice change. thanks to all at cdjapan for getting this to me before christman. listened last night. beautiful. to all audiophiles "merry christmas"

Greatest Hits [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]Queenqueen - greatest hits
all preceding releases of this album are very good. the mqa release is in a different dimension. this is where i wanted to go all my life (from the convenience of my stereo room.) better than being in the center loge. freddie is with us, forever. oppo 205, emotive 7 channel, 8 speaker surround. change all the classics to mqa.

A Night At The Opera [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]Queena night at the opera
better than the sacd. amazing sound. although mercury has left the building, you can now have him in your room, until you have to leave the building and try to find Freddie in heaven. phil

Love Over Gold [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]Dire Straitslove over gold
even better than the sacd. amazing!!! mark is in the room. don't think it could get any better. vocals could be louder. phil

All Things Must Pass [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]George Harrisonall things must pass
better than the rest. less wall of sound and reverb (aka phil spector.) if you love the album this is the best. to my taste. more treble, more separated, more defined. instruments much better, vocal a little better. you need the mqa decoder to get the extra punch and definition. phil

Wild Honey [SHM-CD]The Beach Boyswild honey beach boys
a few dollars more this import is well worth it. much better mastering. all beach boys sound like they were recorded in the last ten years not 60 years ago.

Endless Summer [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]The Beach Boysendless summer beach boys
as a regular cd this is amazing. I managed to install the two updates oppo sent me. by the way nice job by oppo. even though they are not making any blu ray players they were excellent on getting me what I needed to get my oppo 205 to play mqa disc's. with the mqa working the beach boys were louder. believe it or not, without the volume boost, this cd sounded 10 to 20% better in every way. if this was 1965 you might think the boys were in your house. of course I could be completely wrong, what each of us hear is subjective. I will use this as my demo disc. amazing job by all involved. phil

Pet Sounds [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-SACD] [Limited Release]The Beach Boyspet sounds and simile smile in shm-sacd
did anyone buy these. i did. the worst sounding of any type cd's i've bought in general. all other cd japan in all format's sound better than anything else i have bought, anywhere. i have a very good stereo system and have many cd's in many formats. on the most expensive cd i ever bought it sounds flat, lifeless. on the cd it says mono. i tryed calling several times. when cd japan did answer there first question was "how do you know it's mono." my stereo if very flexable and i tried all combonations. i even had trouble with the 2001 dvd audio pet sounds on the dvd audio side, like many other's. but i can't find a review of the shm sacd pet sounds sold by cd japan. are my ear's gone, finally. someone please give their thought on this item. any advise, many i missed something about it. the dvd audio still sell around $15(don't forget some people have trouble playing the dvd side, i did, the hybird is $30. they both sound better. please add your wisdon. the two beach boy shm-sacd are the only cd's i have ever considered returning. not that i will. cd japan is a solid company with an excellent process to get the best recording to you in the fastest manner. even thought they are half way around the world. hats off to fed-ex also for their part in the excellent delievry. not mad, dissapointed, phil
