Noein Original Soundtrack Vol.1Animation SoundtrackNoein
One of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. While the soundtrack may be a bit on the short side, the price of admission is worth it for the first track, ShangriLa alone.

Giant Robo THE ANIMATION Original Soundtrack IAnimation(Original Soundtrack)GIANT ROBO!!!!!
Hands down, the Giant Robo soundtrack is one of the greatest ever, featuring sweeping and epic music that can match scores from Hollywood films.

Denno Coil Soundtrack OngakushuAnimation Soundtrack (Tsuneyoshi Saito)Denno Coil
There are only several bad tracks in this really fun and buoyant soundtrack. The value is real good to, and you will be hard pressed to find another soundtrack that contains two discs for this price.

Natsukashi UmiAkino Araivintage Akino Arai
Personally, I think Natsukashi Umi is Akino Arai's best song. I listen to it over and over again, but ever time, it still remains beautiful. The other two tracks are quite good as well.

HAIBANE RENMEI soundtrack hanenoneAnimation SoundtrackVery subdued and subtle
This soundtrack is quite slow and deliberate, but that does not mean at all that this soundtrack is boring. In fact, this soundtrack is a beautiful work of art. The various instruments come together to create splendid and atmospheric songs. The piano work in this soundtrack is especially good. Overall this is quite a relaxing and stimulating soundtrack. You can't go wrong with this.

Le Portrait de Petit Cossette - Original SoundtrackAnimation SoundtrackHaunting and exquisite
This soundtrack is quite chilling and emotional, and overall, one of Yuki Kajiura's best works. The vocals on this track by Marina Inuoe are haunting and linger in your head long after the song is finished. The combination of synthesizers and instruments is also nicely done. In some songs, the melding of synthesizers and instruments is quite jarring, but Yuki Kajiura fuses those two masterfully. Moonflower, Houseki, Sadness, and the main theme of Petite Cossette are among my favorite pieces in this CD, but all there are no ear-hurting songs. In my opinion, this is a great buy.

Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku Original SoundtrackAnimation SoundtrackHighly recommended
This anime soundtrack is an excellent addition to any music library. The first track, clocking at twenty minutes, is especially exquisite. The music in the soundtrack is mostly poignant, like the series, with some optimism interspersed between. High recommended!

GUNGRAVE O.S.T. uno -righthead-Animation SoundtrackGreat fusion of various styles
This is the best anime soundtrack I've ever listened too and can be vastly enjoyed even without prior viewing of the show. On this OST the guitar work by Tsuneo Imahori is excellent and many styles are exhibited, allowing a great range on this CD that does not fail to disappoint. To get the complete experience, also get the second OST for Gungrave.

FANTASIC CHILDREN OSTAnimation Soundtrack (Music by Kouji Ueno)A decent purchase
The music played its purpose in Fantastic Children, but listening to the music alone is just not the same. The tracks unfortunately don't stand out too well without visuals. Still, that doesn't mean there are some good tracks. If anything, buy this soundtrack for Helga's themes and the main theme of the show, titled the Children of Belfort.

Gankutsuou Original SoundtrackAnimation SoundtrackAmazing soundtrack
The music on the soundtrack is wonderful and is capable of standing out on its own merits. The soundtrack is a great fusion of classical music and techno. Track 18 is my favorite piece in this mix. Do be wary that the soundtrack is not a complete compilation of all songs featured in Gankutsuou. The Classic Compilation also contains some classical pieces featured in Gankutsuou.
