STRATOSFEAR [2CD Edition] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Tangerine DreamThe best that could be
Incredible edition! For a very long time I refrained from acquiring any remasterings of this group. On the other hand, it is impossible not to recognize the influence that their music had on the entire music field. And now, finally, I hold in my hands a thing (and not just a thing) that does not cause me frustration at owning it, as was the case with other publications.

Slip of the Tongue 30th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition [6SHM-CD + DVD / Limited Edition]WhitesnakeSuperb Deluxe
I give this album a special place in the band’s career. One of the few cases when there was a balance between David’s wonderful vocals and the level of musicians accompanying him. Naturally, this is not about Adrian Vandenberg. The power of vocals has received a decent frame of musical instruments. Of course, in this case, I want to get a more fundamental edition of the masterpiece. And here you go!

Clear Air Turbulence [Blu-spec CD] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Ian Gillan BandHigher and higher
Perhaps this is Gillan's best album, as a whole piece. In general, it was amazing how the monster of "square" hard rock stuck in fusion. But, once again, talk about the album forty years ago ... The publication itself is very, very! It sounds great. It could be a little more careful to reproduce the original design. All in all excellent!

Flesh & Blood [w/ DVD, Limited Edition] [Japan Bonus Track]WhitesnakeReal flash & Real Blood
Once again, David shakes us with his “updated” vocals. But, unfortunately, always in his musical career, the musicians around him almost not reach his level. Only the “Come taste” and “Slip of” are an exception to this strange regularity. Naturally, all of the above does not apply to Tommy Aldridge. But with all the nit-picking, the album turned out great. As I already said, from time to time, the changes in David's vocal techniques are surprising. In any case, the possession of such a voice and the constant improvement of its sound is a sign of a true artist. Undoubtedly, Coverdale is one of literally several of the best vocalists of rock ... Without recalling the age ...

The Secret [CD+DVD] [Japan Bonus Track]Alan ParsonsA Big Secret
A-w-e-s-o-m-e! I expected everything, but honestly, I did not expect such a great album. I think this is one of Parsons' best albums. He looks quite elegantly on a par with the masterpieces of the musician of past years. Bravo!

From Out of Nowhere Standard EditionJEFF LYNNE'S ELOTo nowhere
Even the "flying saucer" on the cover suggests: "Somewhere I already came across this ..." The same situation is under the cover ... There are undoubtedly several excellent compositions. I don't think that Jeff was trying to “shade” Secret Messages 35th Anniversary Edition ... boring.

Close To The Edge [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]YesClose to the Excellence
Despite the abundance of remastered of Yes over the past 20 years, this publication carries, I am absolutely sure, the best sound of this album I have ever heard. A strange fallout from the overall design style of this series. If you don’t really care about mini vinyl, the imitation of all the liners and other undoubtedly important things, buy this particular edition. Very highly recommend!

IN THE CITY OF ANGELSJON ANDERSONAngel's voice
I already had an American edition of this album. Something told me to take the Japanese version. And I was not mistaken! The disc sounds definitely better. And in the redesign there are all the elements of the original vinyl. I am very pleased with the replacement. Well, Anderson is an angelic voice. What difference does Napoleon sing about.

No Rest for the WickedOzzy OsbourneI can fucking hear you
It was an album thanks to which I “heard” Osborne. The first to reach me was "Demon Alcohol." Dude clearly understood what he was singing about. If not mistaken, this was the first album with Zakk Wylde. That was a real bomb! Especially in the early morning! You know what I mean.

OZZMOSISOzzy OsbourneIt's True
The tune "My Little Man" still on my phone means a call from my son. This is an album that has brought together our generations. You know what I mean.

Eager To Please [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [Blu-spec CD]Ken HensleyWell done!
Great reissue of this album. Honestly, I bought it for this reason - it's not my favorite Hensley. Everything is done flawlessly, even trimming the inner envelope. Bravo!

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release]Ritchie Blackmore's RainbowRizing of RBR
I like this series in principle. Listen only to how Foxtrot or Close to the Edge sounds. I believe that this is the best sounding of this album that I have ever heard. This is especially true for low frequencies. The rainbow has always been recorded “dry” in the mid-frequency range. All the while, the thought “bad vinyl press?” In the era of the CD, it turned out that all this is the "refinement" of sound recording. It should be noted that in the mid-70s all rock groups somehow “dried up” (Stormbringer, RB'R, Technical Ecstasy, Physical Graffiti). This edition is the first that does not make you jump, run to the player and check if everything is in order with your system.

Wings Over America [SHM-CD] [Limited Release] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Paul McCartney & WingsOver & over
For a long time I refrained from acquiring this publication. But, having watched the showdown on the Y-tube, I bought it! I have no words! It's great! Perhaps I have not seen a more meticulous and masterful edition of mini-vinyl. I'm amazed!

Follow The Rainbow [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [Limited Edition] [Blu-spec CD2]George DukePick Funk
This album is certainly included in the defining style of funk. Perfect work of all performers. Even female singers, with their usually squeaky annoying voices. And George soars like an eagle over all this “disgrace”. With a piece of music he put it in a collection near the Earth, Wind and Fire.

Private Eyes [Blu-spec CD2]Tommy BolinTommy's eyes
Tommy is a comet. Quickly flew, quickly burned out. Waiting from such stars of accuracy and completeness is stupid. Only another strong musical personality can balance and “slow down” this power. This was the case with Billy Cobham; this was the case with Deep Purple. Out of respect for the great musician. The edition is very good. Printing is a bit dark in my opinion.

The Dreamer [10th Anniversary Edition]Jose JamesThe Greatest Dreamer
I had the first edition of this album in my collection. But I gladly bought the anniversary edition. After Michael Franks, Jose is the brightest phenomenon for me in male jazz vocals. His style is absolutely unique. All albums are interesting both in the sense of melody, and in the sense of arrangement.

Supertramp [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]SupertrampSuper Trump
I am not an ardent fan of this group. But this album is one of my favorites. Very strong work for the early period of creativity. I enjoy a good sound and edition as a whole. For a true fan of the band - Super Trump

Egg+3 [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]EggWhat was the first - the hen or the egg?
Very outstanding album of a great group. Perhaps today is not very famous in wide circles. Everything is very good: sound, printing. I listened to this album in 1981- almost "killed" vinyl. What a joy to hear it now in great quality!
