Touch / Yume no TsuzukiYounhaAnother catchy song from Younha
I really liked "Touch" because it's upbeat and catchy, and a bit spicier than her first single Houki Boshi. I can picture it playing in the background as I try to learn how to surf or perhaps during a car chase. "Yume no Tsuzuki" is a slow, easy-going ballad; it's something I'd play while I'm trying to study or scrapbook.

Season's Call [Regular Edition]HYDEhyde=yay
"Season's Call" has a good melody and is pretty upbeat, something I'd listen to while driving. "Unexpected" has an interesting/odd pace; it starts out slow and repetitive, develops into the louder, raspy Hyde-ness, cools back down, and then gets all crazy faster at the end. It doesn't sit as well with me as Season's Call.

Ichirin no HanaHIGH and MIGHTY COLORAnother good one
The first song "Ichirin no Hana" is very catchy, as I have come to expect from them, and features both Maki's beautiful voice as well as the guys, and some screamo stuff sprinkled in there. The second song "Warped Reflection" is upbeat and has a nice melody and is pretty similar to the rest of their songs. The "Ichirin no Hana ~Huge Hollow Mix" was pretty interesting, like a crazy techno/house remix that's good for scaring people. The instrumental to Ichirin no Hana is also included. If you like any of their other songs or if you are a Bleach fan, I highly recommend this.

RISINGYOSHIDA BROTHERSface-melting shamisen
I've enjoyed listening to the Yoshida Brothers' progressive shamisen music because they combine a traditional instrument with modern and international influences. "Rising" is an upbeat song with a rock-feel to it; both the shamisen and the guitar start out strong keep things going until the end. The "Rising~Complete Mix" is a minute longer than the first version and has an extended cool-down part in the middle. The last track "Rising/Dawn" is much slower-paced but has the same melody as Rising; it's very calming and serene. A definite must-buy for fans. If you've never listened to the Yoshida Brothers, this will change your view on how cool shamisen can be.

Passion [Regular Edition]Hikaru UtadaBeautiful
The single version has an interesting backbeat that is a nice contrast to the slower lyrical pace at the beginning. There's some beautiful synth sounds floating around that makes this feel somewhat dreamy. The "after battle version" has piano and feels very relaxing during the first 3 minutes, and then adds in the cool backbeat featured in the single version, minus her vocals. This theme shows her musical growth since Simple & Clean, and I can't wait to hear more of her new material.

Keep Tryn'Hikaru UtadaHikki has done it again
Light and refreshing, and definitely not anything like Exodus. "Keep Tryin'" has such a beautiful and intriguing melody, which pairs wonderfully with the ethereal synth sounds in the background. This song makes me feel happy and inspired and is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. The second song "Wings" is also happy and relaxing. A must buy for any Utada Hikaru fan.
