Perfect Blue Original Soundtrack [Limited Release]Animation SoundtrackPerfect Soundtrack
Fantastic Soundtrack to an amazing classic film!! The theme songs are great 90s JPOP pieces and the instrumentals are hauntingly creepy, a great listen, especially for Halloween in October and even at any time of year for those that enjoy the film and this type of music. The packaging is gorgeous and very detailed!! Highly recommended!!

Scenario [Low-priced Reissue]Al Di MeolaFantastic 80's synth/jazz guitar album!
A different and excellent work of Al Di Meola. A highly recommended album for fans of his music and for those who do not know. I recommend its purchase and attentive listening.

Trio of Doom (John McLaughlin, Jaco Pastorius, Tony Williams)Trio Of Doom3 giants from the world of jazz fusion
Historically an important fusion record of super minds behind fusion. They never played together in that format. All three players are totally geared up to tear their instruments showing immense talent, dexterity and experience.

How Dare You +3 [SHM-CD]10CCA hugely successful album
In my opinion, this is one of the finest crossover prog album ever recorded. Unfortunately, it was the last 10CC album to feature the full original band. My over all impression is that 10cc was perhaps not as perfect as on their last record but the quality of the genuinity was still extraordinary and I also think that the tops on "How dare you!" is higher than anywhere in 10cc's discography.

ENEMY [w/ DVD, Limited Edition / Type A]TWICETwice Does It Again
Twice has once again released a song that is full of deeper meaning. While most of the songs on here follow their iconic pop style, the title song Enemy has a more rock sounding edge. While it is not following their pop beginning and iconic sound, it adds a new type of genre to their repertoire, showing just how versatile and unique these 9 women are. The song is a song that I believe will stand the test of time as one of their songs that really pull out emotions, not only in the sound of the song, but in the lyrics. The song Enemy is well written, well produced, and well delivered by Twice. Even the other songs that fit more to their usual style are very good, and have some musical genre mixing. The song "Love is More"takes on a pop style with jazz notes, while the song "The Wish" almost has a retro sound. Overall, I'm extremely happy that Twice put out such a diverse CD. The extras, the DVD, and this entire package is worth it in so many ways.

Masked Rider Hibiki Blu-ray Box 1Sci-Fi Live ActionFunny how time flies...
The first time I saw Hibiki, it was on discs, and I was in the middle of my primary school days. If Kuuga introduced me to the world of the Masked Rider franchise, it was Hibiki who made me a fan. Takatera's narrative style and world-building are definitely my favorite. Even as a child, I loved this show, how the story unfolded, how Asumu gradually matured from a child to a teenager who finally figured out what he truly wanted to be and made the decision himself. I also envy Asumu a little, as he had so many reliable adults around him to guide and support him through what was perhaps the first confusing and anxious phase of his life, which is a certain luxury for many children throughout their childhood and adolescence. I highly recommend Hibiki, at least the first half.

Mccartney [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]Paul McCartneyA pleasant lightweight record
Paul McCartney retreated from the spotlight of the Beatles by re-cording his first solo album at his home studio, performing nearly all of the instruments himself. Appropriately, McCartney has an endearingly ragged, homemade quality that makes even its filler - and there is quite a bit of filler - rather ingratiating. Only a handful of songs rank as full-fledged McCartney classics.

Tug Of War [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]Paul McCartneyYou'll be moved
"Tug of War", shows the legendary former Beatle pulling out all of the stops in making one of the most diverse, heartfelt, and overall wonderful albums he would have ever written at this point, and one that, in my opinion, does an exceptional job at everything it tries to do. It's bouncy, soulful, rockin', and occasionally beautiful and moving. And it's not just the material, but it's the overall technicalities of the album as well. George Martin does not disappoint with the production, as the legendary Beatles producer makes this album sound every bit as good, if not better.

Pipes Of Peace [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]Paul McCartneyFor 1983, the production is spectacular
The greatest thing about this album is that it's very chill, easy listening and soft, like great background music.

Carry FireRobert PlantThis was a highly enjoyable listen
Always a pleasure to listen to Plant's unmistakable voice. His most recent stuff makes no effort to appeal to any specific target audience, and the result is often a lovely mish-mash of genres. Definitely something for everybody here.

Pure [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD]PendragonDefinitely a masterpiece
The anticipation I had for Pure was intense. I got the feeling that Pendragon (and Nick, especially) invested a lot to this project. The investment has paid off. What we have in Pure is music with an intense spirit and that makes us think while gripping onto our interest. It encompasses a lot of different moods and textures, but in the end it's undoubtedly Pendragon. I consider this album a masterpiece.

143Katy PerryKaty's 143
Very nice album with many good songs. Just wish the album was longer. It is a bit short compared to her previous releases. The included booklet is really nice too. Has some neat photos of Katy, and the poster I received with the album was small but fun. Had it plaque mounted and hung on my bedroom wall.

METAL FORTH [Regular Edition]BABYMETALvery disappointing
Maybe Babymetal should focus less on collaborations with other artists and more on their own songwriting. I cannot bear to listen to any of the first five songs and have great difficulties to call the music altogether. The second half of the album is decent at best, but nothing that sticks to you or makes you want to come back. I read somewhere how much Su's singing skills have improved, but what is that good for if the songwriting is mediocre and there is more shouting than singing going on?

Take No Prisoners [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [Blu-spec CD]David ByronByron's voice is great
This 1975 album was the first solo outing for David Byron, the lead singer for Uriah Heep. It isn't a big surprise that a good portion of the album sounds a lot like the group that gave him his day job. Overall, it’s a well-made album that will definitely find favor with Uriah Heep fans.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket (Subtitles: English, Chinese) / U.C.Gundam Blu-ray Library SeriesAnimationAmazing blu-ray for an amazing OVA
While War in the Pocket is not one of my favorite Gundam series', I nevertheless bought this Blu-ray. Needless to say, the sound and video quality is impeccable. The story itself is a very unique perspective of the 1 Year War and on war itself as a phenomenon. The U.C. Libraries are amazing and War in the Pocket is one of the best blu-rays (anime) I have seen thus far. Outstanding release, worth every yen.
