Black Market [Blu-spec CD2]Weather ReportThis is probably the best WR albumThe album sounds as a whole musical creation, it can be listened in one breath. And the good thing is: the longer you listen to it, the more yoy like it. Even now it sounds fresh and very much up-to-date.

Yeh, Hwei-Mei [SHM-CD+DVD]Jay ChouYeh, Hwei-MeiA landmark album, stunningly remastered for this Japanese SHM-CD pressing. The audio is rich, layered, and emotionally resonant, with breathtaking clarity on East Wind Breaks and Sunny Day. Strings and traditional instruments sound lush and organic, while vocals carry intimate warmth. Impeccable pressing and elegant packaging honor its legacy, making it one of the most rewarding reissues in the series.

The Song Remains the SameLed ZeppelinSo dazed and confused ...This live record is worth your money for the "Dazed And Confused" alone. Don't be narrow-minded, even if you don't like hard rock. This is essential.

G Fantasy May 2026 Issue [Cover & Appendix] "Tokyo Aliens" Special Pencil BoardSQUARE ENIXAmazing coverI’ve been a fan of Tokyo Aliens ever since I first ordered manga from CDJapan, and I’m so happy it’s finally getting recognition overseas (along with many others). Japanese manga magazines never disappoint — you get so many different artists and little glimpses of their stories all packed into one book. One can never get tired of it. And of course, the packaging is always great. Thank you!

Hana to Yume May 20 2026 Issue [Appendix] Yona of the Dawn Acrylic StandHakusenshaCover-worthy of a purchaseNot gonna lie… I mainly bought it for the cover. But I also really love Hana to Yume’s monthly issues — discovering new artists and reading all kinds of stories is the best part. Plus, they always come with cute goodies. King Crimson Japan Performance Supplement Series in SHM-CD: 2015 Japan Tour Box 2 - Tokyo Performances Part 2 (December 10, 16, 17, Bunkamura Orchard Hall, Tokyo) [SHM-CD] [Limited Release] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]King CrimsonThe Triple Threat AwakesThe first installment is a manifesto of the "Seven-Headed Beast." Here, King Crimson reinvents its history, using the triple-drum setup not as a gimmick, but as a complex clockwork engine. The sonic detail is staggering: you can feel every stick click and the resonance of Tony Levin’s bass. This music sits at the intersection of mathematical precision and primal chaos, where classics like "Starless" gain a haunting, almost tactile depth. It is the perfect gateway into the late Fripp era.

Led Zeppelin Standard EditionLed ZeppelinA Legendary DebutThis is Led Zeppelin's strongest effort by far and easily the strongest debut album I have ever heard from a band. It is musically brilliant, adventurous, catchy, guitar- driven effort that has captivated me for years. I think Led Zeppelin I is the best non-prog album of all times. You don't need to be complex in order to make good music. The musicians are extremely talented and work so well together, that most of these songs are timeless classics and even masterpieces. They not only show virtuosity and technical playing, but also surprisingly good songwriting and great melodies.
-
Led Zeppelin IV Standard EditionLed ZeppelinIt is truly a masterpieceAll 8 songs on this album are excellent quality songs and all are songs that I have heard hundreds, if not thousands of times, and yet they have never grown old with me. Led Zeppelin IV should be a part of any music collection, not just a progressive rock one. Listening to it is a timeless experience.

DownwindPierre Moerlen's GongThis album is really greatThis album is really great. Pierre Moerlen took charge of Gong and ressurrected it into a nice Jazz-Rock mallet-induced outfit. This album is recommended to fans of the earlier Moerlen albums or just nice jazz-rock as well. A truly great effort by the great Moerlen and crew.

Closer To The Sun [Blu-spec CD]TykettoAwesome AlbumAfter a ten year wait since Reach (2016), Tyketto return with Closer to the Sun, an album that confidently re establishes their place in melodic hard rock without chasing modern trends. Classic album - uplifting choruses, blues tinged hard rock riffs, Hammond organ flourishes and Danny Vaughn remains the emotional anchor—his voice still rich, expressive, and convincing. Ged Rylands’ keyboards add depth and warmth, while Harry Scott Elliott’s guitar work balances blues swagger with melodic restraint. The rhythm section (Chris Childs and Johnny Dee) keeps everything grounded and road ready. An album not to be missed.
-
RecklessChez KaneAwesome AlbumWith her third album - Reckless, Chez Kane firmly establishes herself as one of the standout voices in modern melodic hard rock and one of the UK's brightest talent in recent years. The album fully embraces classic ’80s AOR energy with polished production, soaring vocals, infectious hooks and with a sexy artwork. Reckless is not just an album trying to reinvent melodic hard rock - It’s an album aiming to perfect it. There’s no real filler here. Each track serves a purpose and maintains the album’s momentum. The songwriting leans heavily on strong choruses and simple but effective structures, true to the genre’s roots. Chez Kane succeeds by embracing what makes the genre special: memorable melodies, confident performances, and songs that feel tailor made for the stage. If you enjoy artists like Vixen and Heart, you will enjoy this album.

Again And Again [Cardboard Sleeve] [Limited Release] [SHM-CD]Chick CoreaAn overlooked gem from Chick CoreaRecorded in a single day in South Africa (thus the parenthetical addendum), Again And Again is split down the middle between warm Latin jazz (side one) and noisier, funkier fare (side two). Steve Kujala splits his time between the flute and the sax, and something about the flute makes the first side quieter, particularly in the rhythms from Tom Brechtlein, Don Alias and Carlos Benavent. Again And Again isn’t a fusion concept album and it doesn’t quite fit into Corea’s early 80s classical phase. It’s two sides of a multi-faceted artist captured at a moment in time with one of his less ostentatious outfits, a pair of pleasant excursions to interesting places.
