The Order Of ThingsALL THAT REMAINSAn Uneven and Schizophrenic AlbumSomewhere between Fall of Ideals and Overcome, ATR appears like they desperately wanted to break into the mainstream because they started mixing in ballads and what I think they think epic singalong songs are supposed to like with metal songs full of blast beats and screaming. I appreciate the range but, it makes for an album that can’t find its footing or tone. Going from the melodic The Won’t Rnd Well to the double bass heavy and screamy No Knock is just weird; it’s not cohesive. It’s not BAD, but, this album isn’t a complete listening experience one can have beginning to end.

Paper Drivers Music [Limited Release]Kirinjia repeatable and replayable spinThis limited LP of Paper Drivers Music [Limited Release] is a total joy if you like warm, detail-rich Japanese pop with that “city glow” polish. The music feels effortless—tight grooves, clever chord changes, and melodies that stick without trying too hard. It has that Kirinji magic where everything sounds smooth on the surface, but there’s a lot happening underneath (little rhythmic twists, playful arrangements, and vocals that sit perfectly in the pocket). As a record, it’s also just nice to live with: the presentation feels like a collector’s piece, and the album’s bright, summery energy makes it easy to throw on and let it run. If your shelf already has Shibuya-kei/city-pop adjacent favorites, this one fits right in—but it’s also approachable enough for a first-time Kirinji listen.

47' 45" [Limited Release]KirinjiShort, Sweet, and Addictive47' 45" [Limited Release] from Kirinji is a perfect little slice of their charm—compact, polished, and ridiculously replayable. The songwriting is tight and melodic, with that signature Kirinji blend of smooth groove, clever harmonic turns, and an effortless “cool” that never feels forced. Because it’s a shorter release, it hits fast: no filler, just standout moments that make you want to flip the record and run it back. On vinyl, the mix feels warm and lively, with the rhythm section snapping nicely and the vocals sitting right up front.

The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert [2CD / Regular Edition]Game MusicA masterpiece for every fanThis performance is an absolute masterclass in orchestral storytelling. Hearing iconic themes like "The Wind Waker" and "Skyward Sword" brought to life by a world-class orchestra is a truly emotional experience. The arrangements are breathtaking, capturing both the grand scale of Hyrule and the intimacy of Link’s journey. Whether you are a long-time fan or a newcomer, the production quality and the nostalgia-driven setlist make this a definitive tribute to the series. A must-listen that perfectly honors 30 years of legend.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Game)" Original Soundtrack [Regular Edition]Game MusicExcellence for atmosphericsThis soundtrack is a daring and beautiful departure from tradition. Instead of constant bombast, it uses delicate piano motifs and organic textures to mirror the vastness of Hyrule. The "less is more" approach creates a profound sense of solitude and discovery, making the sudden swells of the main theme or the frantic energy of the "Guardian Battle" feel even more impactful. It is a masterclass in sound design and subverting expectations. On a high-quality setup, the subtle details—the wind, the soft chime of strings, and the precise decay of the piano notes—provide a deeply immersive and meditative listening experience. A stunning, avant-garde tribute to the spirit of adventure.

"Animal Crossing: New Horizons" Original Soundtrack BGM CollectionGame MusicListening for chillingThe Animal Crossing soundtrack is a masterclass in "audio decor." It manages to be incredibly catchy yet perfectly unobtrusive, evolving hour by hour to match the rhythm of the day. The transition from the funky, bass-driven grooves of the afternoon to the melancholic, reverb-heavy piano melodies of 5 AM is nothing short of genius. The production quality is sparkling—the crispness of the acoustic guitars, the organic "clack" of the percussion, and those smooth synth leads sound absolutely lush. It’s a celebratory, feel-good collection that turns any space into a peaceful sanctuary. A must-have for those who appreciate detailed, relaxing arrangements that breathe life into every listening session.
-
"Super Mario Odyssey (Game)" Original SoundtrackGame MusicPure JoyThis soundtrack is a literal masterclass in musical diversity. From the big-band swing of "Jump Up, Super Star!" to the surf-rock vibes of "Bubblaine," every track is bursting with personality and flawless production. It’s rare to find an OST that transitions so seamlessly between jazz, orchestral, and 8-bit retro styles while maintaining a cohesive identity. The instrumentation is crisp, vibrant, and incredibly catchy—it’s impossible to listen to this without smiling. Whether you’re a gamer or just a lover of well-composed music, this collection is a celebratory masterpiece that sounds fantastic on a high-end system.

Animation AKIRA Layouts & Key Frames 1 (OTOMO THE COMPLETE WORKS 23)Otomo KatsuhiroMasterpiece book!As an avid AKIRA fan from the west, I must say owning this layouts and key frames Vol. 1 book is a must! This book is absolutely wonderful and a great addition to my Akira collection! Everything from the vibrant pink cover to the abundance of layout images and gorgeous cel replicas is amazing. There are actually a lot more cels than I was expecting. The book is very heavy and rich with content. I have been a fan of this film for decades and it's fantastic to get such a glimpse into the production process behind a masterpiece film.

Animation AKIRA Layouts & Key Frames 2 (OTOMO THE COMPLETE WORKS 24)Otomo KatsuhiroHighly recommended book! The second volume of an awesome book. If it weren't for Katsuhiro Otomo's interest, I wouldn't be able to enjoy replicating his drawings and animation research, which he created from his own hands for the movie “AKIRA.” The price can be pricey, but it's very cheap for something that comes in full color, including the final acetate duplicate. A publisher would never have risked publishing it. That's a gift for the fans. Highly recommended book!

City Hunter Anime All Histories PIA (All Histories of Animation of City Hunter) (Pia MOOK)PiaA must-have!It's a great reference book for reviewing, with thorough explanations from the anime series. I used to watch anime a lot, and I remember watching the first one when I was little, so I reread this and watched the new one. It really reminded me of an old fashioned exchange, and I was able to watch movies easily. A must-have book if you're a fan!
