Thin Lizzy is the debut studio album released by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy on 30th April 1971. The album was followed by the New Day EP, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios and released in August of the same year. It was the band’s first album with the original line up of Phil Lynott (Bass and Vocal), Eric Bell (Guitar) and Brian Downey (Drums). This LP was Thin Lizzy putting all they had into the music and taking risks. It’s passionate, high energy and distinctive. These deluxe CD and LP releases celebrating the 55th Anniversary of Thin Lizzy’s debut studio album feature rarities, BBC Sessions and unreleased music never previously heard. The 3 SHM-CD‘S+Blu-Ray features 15 unreleased tracks including the previously unreleased studio track, ‘Beggar’s Song’. The tracklist also includes the rare New Day EP alongside other rarities and BBC sessions. The 3CD format also contains a brand-new stereo mix from Richard Whittaker and comes with a Blu-Ray with a first ever Dolby Atmos Mix. The deluxe set is housed in a rigid 10x10 box and includes a 40-page hardcover book with extensive liner notes by Mojo’s Mark Blake and memorabilia.

I have the previous Japanese release of this album and it is superb. The Stones are in fine form and at the peak of their powers. The playing of Mick Taylor is the highlight plus the saxophone playing of Trevor Lawrence puts new life into songs like Angie and You Can’t Always Get What You Want. For me this far surpasses Ya Yas. A must buy if you are a Stones fan.

I just started listening to Hagane. Top Of The Tower was good, but Metal Quest, well, this was definitely more of the style I like! Black Diamond sounds like it was pulled right out of the late 80's hair metal scene which I grew up with. Tsukikage has a great raunchy guitar start to it, the drumming in We Are The Knight is so good, driving through the song like a freight train, and the rest of the tracks have a good hard rock sound! A band with a great vocalist, great guitarist and bassist and of course... the drummer is super cool!

If you don't take into account the international shipment price nor the weeks/months of waiting, it is a cool product, one to honor your favorite Umamusume ! I now have Oguri Cap with me, to show me the time whenever I want to know it.

Just a bunch of talented young women playing some good old school garage band punk! The songs are all energetic and fun! The title track "Heartbreaker" has a really great raunchy guitar sound... well, really, all the songs do, and are all great tracks! Just trust me, if you like good old rock, just get the album!

They were ready to do a big tour, then the world came crashing down. What did Band-Maid do? They made sure to still give their "Masters & Princesses" everything they could from their hearts and souls. This was one of their live shows with no audience, due to the Covid lockdowns and cancellations. Even with no crowd in front of them, they still gave us everything! Definitely worth getting as a piece of history. The recordings all sound great and the video looks great!

This is my first cd ever, I love it already. I’m able to listen to Splatoon while driving and being able to appreciate the amount of music is packed in here.

I Think This new album shows the longevity of the art and genius of one of the greatest songwriters and musician/performers of all time! Paul Mccartney has still got it. Each song on this album is introspective and quite retrospective and give you a feeling of something quite familiar and at the same time quite different from what we expect from Sir Paul. I admit, I didn't know what to expect with this new release. I knew I would love a handful of the songs and "kind of" like a handful of songs... But I LOVE every song on this album! I highly recommend everyone run and buy a copy... You'll Love it too!!!

It’s such a cute CD drama that came in a nice jewel case. It’s also surprisingly great for people learning Japanese (I’d say N3 for people who want a bit of a challenge, N2 for comfortable listening.) I’m taking away a star since I think 3000 yen is a bit high for only 2 short-ish drama tracks plus a cast commentary. I’m also a bit disappointed that there isn’t a transcript to follow along with in the booklet. That’s kind of standard for most CDs, but it’s honestly not the biggest deal.

One more brilliant album by the Brits. Melodic and groovy, this is a must for every lover of hard rock music!

First step for the Germans. Very different from what followed but equally good. This edition is superb sounding too! Great!

Hold Your Ground is a superb example of contemporary melodic rock done right. Dennis Ward and Khymera deliver an album full of melodic excellence, polished production, and heartfelt performances that honour the classic AOR tradition while maintaining a modern edge. Musically, Hold Your Ground is exactly what longtime Khymera fans expect. Eleven tracks of hook-filled melodic rock driven by soaring vocals, strong musicianship, and immaculate production. Songs such as "Sail On Forever", "Runaway", "Could Have Been Us" and "Am I Dreaming" maintain a high standard of songwriting throughout the record. Hold Your Ground may not surpass Khymera's very best releases for every listener, but it stands as one of the stronger melodic rock albums of 2023 and a must-hear for fans.

Transatlantic Radio's Midnight Transmission is exactly that kind of record. A debut album that feels like a love letter to the golden age of AOR while still sounding fresh enough to belong in the present era. It delivers a masterclass in melodic rock craftsmanship, blending polished European melodic finesse with hard-charging American rock energy and a genuine passion for the genre. What makes Midnight Transmission especially enjoyable is its refusal to settle for mere imitation. The influences are obvious, but the band manages to capture the spirit of classic AOR rather than simply copying its sound. The songwriting feels authentic, the performances are sincere, and the production strikes an ideal balance between vintage warmth and contemporary punch. Midnight Transmission is one of the strongest and most impressive AOR debuts in recent years. Transatlantic Radio successfully blend classic melodic rock influences with modern production and outstanding musicianship, creating an album that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.

The Wild Card is a return to form album for Treat. This album simply Rocks. It has huge hooks, powerful vocals and timeless songwriting. Robert Ernlund vocals remains remarkably strong, delivering each chorus with conviction and emotion. One of the album's greatest strengths is its consistency. Tracks such as "Endeavour", "Back To The Future" and "Adam & Evil" demonstrate Treat's mastery of catchy melodic rock songwriting. Rather than chasing modern trends, the band embraces its identity and delivers exactly what fans of classic Scandinavian melodic hard rock want to hear. The Wild Card is a superbly-crafted melodic rock album fueled by the spirit of '80s rock. A must have for all fans.

For diehard Hardline fans, this is the album many have been hoping for. More than three decades after the classic Double Eclipse, Johnny Gioeli and gang have delivered a record that captures the spirit of that legendary debut while injecting a heavier and more modern edge. Shout is a triumphant return for Hardline and one of the strongest melodic hard rock releases of 2026. It successfully honours the band's legacy while sounding fresh and energetic. Fans of classic Hardline sound will find plenty to love here. What makes Shout so enjoyable is its consistency. There are no obvious filler tracks. The album maintains a strong momentum from start to finish. Standout tracks include the anthemic "Rise Up," the hook-filled "It Owns You," and the excellent "Mother Love," which features one of the album's strongest choruses. The band's reinterpretation of Scorpions' "When You Came Into My Life" is another highlight, transforming the original into a distinctly Hardline-style melodic rocker while showcasing Gioeli's vocal abilities. All in all, Shout is Hardline's finest album in years and arguably their strongest release since the legendary Double Eclipse.
