This is a science fiction show that could be of interest to fans of Takashi Miike or Hideaki Anno; if you want to know what they watched growing up that influenced them, here you go. What could have been just a run-of-the-mill television program frequently transcends its limitations here with unique camera set-ups and editing that add visual flare to what would otherwise be scenes of monologue info dumping. It's a good exercise in making the most of a limited budget. Not that the program is perfect, but when it shines the impact this had on the shot composition of anime from the 80s to present becomes obvious; what was novel in this program to keep it interesting became the standard for Gundam and other shows.

Went in expecting the usual tenkosei story, but instead got a Mamoru Oshii-esque fever dream. There is the city kid moves to small town and gets bullied aspect to it, but a lot of the film involves Yuta's dreams. Very interesting visually to watch; if they put out a blu ray with a better transfer, i'd certainly consider upgrading to it.

I couldn't find this tv series in any other place for sale. I was so happy and excited to find this for my collection. It was a great price and arrived in perfect condition. Can't wait to watch it again.

Yumi Tono's incredible score for the 2024 Taiga Drama Hikaru Kimi E is easily my nomination for best soundtrack of the year. This first volume contains many of the most lyrical and romantic passages Tono composed for the series, and will appeal to anyone looking for classic orchestral music written for film/TV that emphasises seriousness, beauty and heartfelt melodic writing. It's an absolute knockout. The Taiga dramas always have notable scores, and Tono has just exploded with this one. I was lucky to also get the 7-disc special edition through CD Japan. If you can find that, definitely grab it. It's stupendous. If not, then the three standard volumes are still must-haves.

I don't know the "Sukeban Deka" series but this album is simply a wonderful discovery! I have rarely heard such a level of artistic quality. Everything is excellent: the songs, the voices of the young girls (but they are absolutely sublime!), the musicians, the work in the studio, we are faced with incredible perfection. Many people could be inspired by it... To get without delay!

This is my favorite drama last season. I was looking forward to the BTS/NG Scenes and it doesn't disappoint. Thank you for the promopt shipping.

If you watched the drama, you must see this follow up special. Nothing was more interesting that seeing Takeru and Yamato grown up now and trying to be responsible citizens of society.

I appreciated being able to rewatch the series in full HD in Blu-ray quality. I also liked having the Japanese subtitles on so I can improve my Japanese listening comprehension. However, my favourite part has to be the extra contents. The 'Happenings' are funny, the cut/deleted scenes in hindsight would have provided greater context to the episode and surrounding scenes, and it's interesting watching the same scenes but from alternate angles. It all gives a further appreciation of the work the film staff and actors put into making Ossan's Love Returns.

Kimi no Hana ni naru is one of my favorite series, mostly because of Fumiya Takahashi's excellent acting as the character, Sagami Dan. All the young men playing the members of 8loom were well-cast (although most of them did not know how to act very well, except for Tsuna Keito) and the story was entertaining all the way through. The character of Nakamachi Asuka was wonderful, however, the actress who played her could have done more with that role. Even though 8loom is not a real boy band, the production value of the show and its music are of such high quality that everything feels authentic. LET'S 8LOOM!

My first time buying japanese drama DVD and it's definitely worth it!!!!! The content are amazing and not disappointing at all!!! 10 out of 10 would buy the dvd or bluray again if they have S2 or movie~

Excellent TV drama soundtrack series from Harumi Fuuki continues. Vol 2 is even better, with a stronger mix of styles. More compositions inspired by traditional Japanese music too, which to my ignorant ears sounds fresh and exciting. With albums like this, where I haven't seen the show the music was written for, the score is left to conjure images and ideas on its own. I have no idea what Segodon is about, but I like to imagine it's a Butterfly Effect-type story about a foolish time traveler who finds himself back in various eras of Japan's history, meeting historical figures and mucking up the timeline, then coming back to present day Japan to see how history has been altered.

The My beautiful man blu-ray box arrived within a week of purchasing, well packaged and safely shipped to the UK. The box set itself was smaller than I imagined and is book sized. The outer packaging has beautiful photography and is a sturdy hard cardboard slip case that holds the actual Blu-ray box. There’s a small booklet with scenes from the series and some candid shots of Kiyoi and Hira There are 3 discs in total and I only received this today so I will be sitting down to binge watch and look to see if there are extra scenes A definite must have for any Japanese BL fan

This review is really more about the tv series than about this DVD product. I loved the series. It was very funny and cute. Though some of the 'situations' were a bit out there, the show was very enjoyable. Additionally, I also liked the show because the theme song introduced me to the J-Pop band Princess Princess. I really enjoyed the tv show, but there's NO WAY I'm going to spend 22800 yen ($155) for it.

It was back in 2020 when I first watched the 1987 Sukeban Deka film so I thought I should watch Sukeban Deka from a British Perspective and its 1,9845 awesome.

ITS SOOOO PRETTY!!!! smaller than i’ve expected for an expensive blueray box BUT it’s really good as it can fit my shelfs (lol i was so worried that it’s too big so it’s good that it’s small) but anyways I REALLY LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH (highly recommend y’all to watch it) ive always rewatched it on bilibili and i’m really happy that i get to have my hands on the actual physical discs. this is one of my most favourite bl shows ever (legit my top 1 show to watch daily) definitely worth the wait & money
