All 8 songs on this album are excellent quality songs and all are songs that I have heard hundreds, if not thousands of times, and yet they have never grown old with me. Led Zeppelin IV should be a part of any music collection, not just a progressive rock one. Listening to it is a timeless experience.

This album is really great. Pierre Moerlen took charge of Gong and ressurrected it into a nice Jazz-Rock mallet-induced outfit. This album is recommended to fans of the earlier Moerlen albums or just nice jazz-rock as well. A truly great effort by the great Moerlen and crew.

After a ten year wait since Reach (2016), Tyketto return with Closer to the Sun, an album that confidently re establishes their place in melodic hard rock without chasing modern trends. Classic album - uplifting choruses, blues tinged hard rock riffs, Hammond organ flourishes and Danny Vaughn remains the emotional anchor—his voice still rich, expressive, and convincing. Ged Rylands’ keyboards add depth and warmth, while Harry Scott Elliott’s guitar work balances blues swagger with melodic restraint. The rhythm section (Chris Childs and Johnny Dee) keeps everything grounded and road ready. An album not to be missed.

With her third album - Reckless, Chez Kane firmly establishes herself as one of the standout voices in modern melodic hard rock and one of the UK's brightest talent in recent years. The album fully embraces classic ’80s AOR energy with polished production, soaring vocals, infectious hooks and with a sexy artwork. Reckless is not just an album trying to reinvent melodic hard rock - It’s an album aiming to perfect it. There’s no real filler here. Each track serves a purpose and maintains the album’s momentum. The songwriting leans heavily on strong choruses and simple but effective structures, true to the genre’s roots. Chez Kane succeeds by embracing what makes the genre special: memorable melodies, confident performances, and songs that feel tailor made for the stage. If you enjoy artists like Vixen and Heart, you will enjoy this album.

The tracks exude all the juicy DOORS yumminess which made them psychedelic pop band number one but adds some interesting counterpoints to the established stylistic approaches. I actually love this album a lot and although no DOORS album would ever rise above the sheer perfection of the first two, this one is by no means inferior to the remaining Morrison era albums.

I love this manga for ecchi and funny scenes where hiwamura sensei is clumsy and cute. I totally recommend this manga.

Chick Corea's greatest trio or small ensemble very likely is this one, with bassist Miroslav Vitous and drummer Roy Haynes. Their virtuoso level of musicianship and acute listening skills are translated into stellar recordings over two nights of performances in Willisau and Reutlinger, edited and condensed on this single CD. Close to perfect, undeniably strong, willful, and musical beyond compare, Trio Music, Live in Europe belongs in your collection, and is simply as good as modern progressive mainstream jazz gets.

Elegant and cinematic, this reissue shines with refined, spacious sound. The SHM-CD mastering brings out delicate piano, lush orchestration, and crisp rhythmic detail across Blue Storm and Maple. But I've seen a lot of concerts, by very different Japanese bands, plus everything available on YouTube... Candy Tune is only two years old, and this is their first published concert. It's simply fabulous. You wonder what the magic formula is for achieving such a result. Talent, a lot of hard work. Yes, of course. But there's so much more to it on stage. I knew very few songs by this band. And I was blown away by the quality of their live performance. Their style is incredibly energetic, and what's more, the musicians are with them throughout the ENTIRE concert (that's far too rare), and that brings a way of interpreting the songs quite different from what you hear on a studio CD, but much better. It's very rock 'n' roll at times, and makes you want to crank up the volume on the amplifier... There are far too many concerts where no musicians are present, or only a small contingent. But CANDY CANDY PARTY is on a whole other level. The seven young women have absolute mastery of everything: they exude an impressive "quiet strength." And absolute charm and enthusiasm. For me, it's one of the best concerts of 2025. I wonder what the next concert will be like, this one is already so fabulous. I see that the Blu-ray pressing is (almost) sold out: they absolutely must do another pressing.

This well-crafted edition well places it into the context of both artists’ tumultuous 1970s…shy of hard-core ecstasy, perhaps, but a worthy and satisfying trip to the vault nonetheless. I think the original album is already a well-curated portion. The rest of this release after the first 2/3 of “disc 1” is just good gravy.

All in all, it’s a pretty good set. The new mixes are fabulous, making the album sound much more clean and modern while still honouring the original sound, and the sessions material is a treasure trove of behind the scenes insights. And now I guess we’ll have to wait and see if they do a similar set for the Sheer Heart Attack album in the next year or two…

I absolutely love this album, every single track is amazing.Totally captivated by Time Travel! JUJUsvoice is perfectly suited for melodies with a retro vibe. None of her covers are mere replicas; instead, she delivers them with her unique gentle interpretation. I could loop the entire album on repeat without getting tired of it—it’s incredibly soothing.

Their music is built on strong melodies, often with a classical/baroque character, virtuoso keyboard and guitar playing, and a sublime blend of classical and rock elements. All of this is performed so professionally and with so much passion that it is a true delight for the musical ear.

COVERS carries on the essence of cover series, yet breaks free from the framework of only covering classic hits by female singers. With more liberal song selection, it demonstrates his mastery of diverse music styles. His naturally crystalline vocal tone lends a tender filter to every track, delivering soothing comfort and timeless charm.

McAuley, Reb and Pilson (and that drummer guy) just get better and better with every Black Swan release; Paralyzed is easily their best album to date. They are just as melodic and catchy as they were in their sophomoric effort, but, they ramp up the composition in this effort. The title track, Cold Wind and King are great. However, this Japanese version is the one to get because while bands just put a piano or acoustic arrangement underneath vocals they already recorded for a track on an album and call it a bonus track, the way they do it here for Cold Wind is AWESOME. Get it!!

This is an admittedly biased review for the simple fact that while this album is very much “average” in every conceivable way across the board, Mr. Darkness is a modern day Ozzy masterpiece. Literally flawless, it has everything I want from amazing guitar solos, time changes, mood changes … this album is worth picking up for this song alone. In fact, the 4th star is just for that song!!
