This brush is perfect for applying a base shade all over the eyelid. Although it’s an eyeshadow brush, the shape is so well-suited for highlighting that I can see why so many people use it that way. It’s the ideal size for the brow bone, the bridge of the nose, and the cheekbones. The softness goes without saying, and the quality is exceptional. I expect to be using this for a very long time.

After applying a gel eyeliner, I use this brush with a bit of dark shadow to smudge and blend the line. The depth it creates is just incredible! It's such a versatile tool to have in your kit. It also works wonders for creating a soft shadow under the eyes to define the 'aegyo-sal' (undereye area).

Although it's designed for applying eyeshadow, I use it for my eyebrows, as its small size and shape allow for incredibly precise and controlled work. The bristles work beautifully, making it easy to define and fill in effortlessly, especially in areas where more detail is needed. As for the handle, I prefer shorter handles because they're more comfortable when applying makeup near the mirror and prevent accidental bumps. Even so, in this particular case, I would have liked it to be slightly longer, though not as long as the GL version.

Despite not being made of natural hair, it's very soft to the touch and feels pleasant on the skin. I'm going to use it for both liquid foundation and concealer, as its size and shape make it very versatile and easy to handle. I love the short handle, but those used to brushes with long handles might find this one a little difficult to balance in their hands. As is typical for Koyomo, it comes in a nice box.

A quick and elegant way to clean brushes between products. It's a heavier muslin-type cloth, and it feels like a superior experience compared to a microfiber cloth. It also looks very nice. I considered buying several with my order, and now I regret not doing so.

It works very well with pigmented blushes. Over time, it has lost some of its softness. It's not one of my favorite Chikuhodo brushes.

Saikoho goat hair bristles are extremely soft and feel very gentle on the skin. They apply blush evenly and blend effortlessly, leaving a natural finish. It works very well for light bronzer or for setting makeup.

Excellent quality cheek brush. The silver fox hair is incredibly soft, yet it has enough resilience to pick up and blend product evenly. It gives a very natural, diffused finish without patchiness. Best suited for light to medium application rather than intense color payoff. Works beautifully with blush and powder.

My Search for the Perfect Pencil Brush Ends Here! After using this brush, I literally got rid of all my other mini bullet brushes. It’s so good that I’m tempted to buy a few more as backups. I can’t help but wonder... if I had just started with Bishodo brushes from the beginning, would I have saved all that money? Haha. It’s absolutely perfect for smudging and defining the lower lash line (the "under-eye widening" look). Highly recommend!

Craftsmanship of this brush is excellent, brush is really beautiful and soft in touch. I bought it after another Bisyodo brush from the same series fox- goat with long handle and hope this big brush will be as soft and versatile, as it's little sister. But this brush is so strong in core and movements are si hard.. this brush isn't stiff, but make a strong lines and not good with airy powders at all. I'm disappointed to be honest, it's expensive item to buy and not use. So it's really good made but too strong to use with airy powders/ washes of colour. But because of fox hair it's not suitable for creams and liquids. Bloggers in YouTube are promoting this brush as versatile one go to brush, and it's not true at all. Best brush from this series is smallest of 3. I recommend to try that one instead.
