Okay so.. THIS IS BY FAR THE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER LISTENED TOO. I bought the special edition Movie, and got the cd again (I didnt know it was coming with it) but; I"m just very glad I got the original Japanese version. (cause lol..I have a case with it!) I love the music, it shipped to me in THEE shortest amount of time; (taking into consideratio its all the way in Japan) and my cd was immaculate.

Animation Soundtrack (Music by Yoko Kanno)
An amazing soundtrack, once more Kanno Yoko shows why she's the best composer out there, simple great soundtrack, featuring some of the best songs in the series, the OSTs worth every cent, just the fact that Somewhere in the silence is include in the soundtrack makes it perfect!
Eclectic collection of music from Solid State Society. No "hit song" the way Cyberbird jumped off OST2, but I love Yokko Kanno no matter what. This makes 5 SAC discs so far, hope there will be more.
Anything, I mean ANYTHING that Yoko Kanno does is an insant masterpiece. Escaflowne,Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain; all insant classics and her work on this series is no different.
The CD is an excellent mix of tech no sounds & heavenly voices. A perfect complement to the story and visual of the movie. The CD stands on it's own though, so seeing the movie first isn't necessary.
