Kogoeru Yoru ni Saita Hana [Limited Release / Type B] Customer Reviews

This is my favourite single from D'espairs ray. I love the song "Kogoeru yoru ni saita hana". The B-sides "Maze is so cool and the another song "PIG" is brutal!!!!!

Purchased this single just for the track, "Maze". Great, heavy hook that sold me immediately. The bridge is cool with the Sepultura-like tribal drumming. If you like the hard, melodic D'espairsRay sound, buy this! If you're more into the brutal side of the band, you probably don't need this one. If you're a pure fan, you already own this!

All three songs are great, I highly recommend this. A bit of a caution though, the video extra of Garnet will only play on your comp and it won't upload into iTunes.

This single definately is impressive all the way through! Even though there's only three songs, each one has it's own sound and punch. Kogoeru Yoru in particular is very different from their usual way of doing things, but still very enjoyable! I look forward to D'espa's future releases and as should you!!

1.)Kogoeru Yoru ni Saita Hana Its a very different sound than what D'espairsRay usually does. Its lighter, almost to a point of "pop", but uplifting all at the same time (sounds 'heavenly', w/use of chimes & echos, etc.). I can't really give a decision whether I like it or not. (It's prob. bc I have a bias & I like their usual dark, heavy songs.) Hizumi's vocals are just amazing. The melody kind of grows on me, especially the chorus. 2.)MAZE This song has the fast paced, heavier sound that D'espairsRay is well-known for. I like the intro to this song. Tsukasa's drumming is insane. Overall, the melody is kind of boring for me, though. Don't get me wrong, I think the band shows their talents well through this song, but I just don't find it too memorable, even though it sounds like it came off of Coll:set. However, I do like the bridge. 3.)PIG Ok I laughed @ the title of the song. But the intro is just incredible. The instrumentals, the transition into growls,& effect b/w the synthed voice & normal sound is fitting for the atmosphere they're trying to create. I like the overlapping of the screaming & singing, but the angsty whispering voice works in too. HOTNESS.

The three songs on this single are, of course, amazing! Another great one from D'espa. The only problem with the clip featured on it is that it can only really be played on a computer. But other than that, it's a must get for any D'espairs ray fan!

WHOa this cd is AMAZING!!! i love it!! the extra phootage was great too. I was actually able to see myself in the Garnet clip too!!! hehe i was in the front row after all!! but man i love this cd!! BUY IT before they sell out!!
