I remember hearing this the first time and immediately being struck by it's depth and emotion. You saw everywhere how these so called fans called it "nothing special" or how "DIR EN GREY fans are too easy to please". If it's not your kind of thing, fine! But let the rest of us fans enjoy it for what it is - sheer exellence! DOZING GREEN was the first step towards the new album and created an unbearable wait. I was so intrigued by HYDRA -666- and when finally hearing it, it just blew me away by it's power and darkness. I've always loved the original, but this is a million times better! Last is a live recording of AGITATED SCREAMS OF MAGGOTS where the only negative thing is the mixing of Kyo's voice which is just too low compared to the rest of the band. Otherwise a powerful performance of this awesome song! DOZING GREEN shows a glimpse into the new album and remains one of their best singles. It has such beauty with a surpressed anxiety that breaks out in such an intense way at the end which just makes me go a bit crazy every time. With such an awesome B-side, this is a must!

Awesome. Totally new sound, and completely wonderful. Love it! I deff recommend it to anyone even -considering- buying it. If you like Diru, you'll deff like Dozing Green.

Dozing Green was well worth the wait for me. I was searching for it all over my small town and was thrilled to find it for a good price. The songs were amazing and a nice departure from Marrow. I love it!

This is Dir en Grey's 23rd single, and my 20th single of theirs. (Yay) The single starts with the song Dozing Green. This song is very powerful. Listening to it leaves you awstruck at how good every member of the band is at what they do. The next song is Hydra 666. This song is fast, loud, and amazing. You can headbang to this one with ease. A live version of Agitated Screams of Maggots closes this C.D.. This song starts out spooky, thanks to Kyo's screaming. I highly recommend this single for all Dir en Grey fans, new and old.

Great as always, Kyo voice is just amazing, also kaoru guitar, I hope they come again in USA, so I can see them on live Show.

Didn't expect this single such beautiful. Actually they are changing and I am not sure if these changes are good or bad. But I will always listen to them!

I bought the European version of this single at the Dir En Grey gig in Amsterdam. Little did I know that it didn't include Hydra -666-, the song I was most curious about. After some effort, I finally have it, though. Dozing Green. They played this one live during their Tour07 Dozing Green ~Overseas~ concerts. It reminds me more of the Vulgar days, what with the heaviness and still having melody (and piano!). At the end, Kyo goes all out with his grunts and girly screams, reminding one of the present: The Marrow of a Bone. Hydra -666-. A complete destruction and remake of their Macabre-era song. Some mysterious parts inbetween, but mostly very heavy and loud, with one of Kyo's deepest gutteral grunts so far and a few girly screams. Fits perfectly with the first song. Agitated Screams of Maggots [Live]. Due to the intro, it fits with the first two tracks. I do think the sound quality of this recording could have been better, though. It's a little unclear and mushed together at times. Other than that, a very aggressive track.

"Thick RHYTMS and MELODY"!!! Acoustic performance of "Agitated Screams of Maggots" B-side "Hydra" Wow... This is almost good as an album quality. Only one wish I now have is to have live version of "Conceived Sorrow" from recent US and European tour. Kyo's voice was so clean with perfect tone, a bit different from album version. DIR EN GREY can't be described by words. only their music.
