Ive always loved Jukas voice and his first single release is very unique. Theres three songs and the instrumentals on this cd. Every song has its own pace. Aravesque- is similiar to the songs done in his time in Hizaki Grace Project. S- can be very catchy after a few listens. and Aimless- is a very laid back song. Its a great three song (6 counting intrumental) single. A+

Juka
I was very curious about this release, what with the likes of Hizaki and Kamijo working on it with Juka. Aravesque is a cute, pleasant track, and both Juka's voice and Hizaki's guitar-work are exceptional. The only flaw I could find in this is that it sounds just like something that could have been on Dignity of Crest and was discarded at the last minute. Not that I'm complaining: I really like Hizaki's work and songwriting, so why should I ^_- Aimless...I don't know. It's a slow, peaceful track, but it just fails to surprise me, except for the whispering bit, which I found a bit...I don't know, embarassing. S...let's not go there. All in all, this is just a first single, and Juka has lots of time to prove his worth (if any). Luxurious will come out soon, so let's just wait and see! ^_^
I think its always nice when instrumentals are included. However the album is inconsistent.each song seems to be a song of its own, different in style, execution and theme. Aravesque-The song is really beautiful. As expected of Hizaki. Romantic piano composition with a heavy metal guitar interwined. Juka's vocals show wide range that helps him show more of his abilities to sing. S-i was lost when i heard this song.First of all the composition of this song is rather simple and effortless though there are some good parts that have potential,i didnt see Hizaki's usual skill. And what the hell was that high pitched screaming,Juka? I think thats the only thing a listener will remember about that song. aimless-This song is out of place completely. After hearing the heavy guitars with instrumentals suddenly a song comes with no musical or vocal range. I am sorry if i am being harsh but i seriosuly doubt in Juka as producer. though his voice is beautiful in the song thats about all i can say. It doesnt belong on the debut single! The only song thats kind of redeems the CD is Aravesque. But i am see potential and i hope Juka does better next time! I support him all the way!
''Aravesque'' is a simply amazing song and only for this song the entire single deserves 5 stars, the B-sides are good too but they can't compete with the title-track.
I had high expectations for this single as I've been a huge fan of Juka since his days with Moi Dix Mois. And my expectations were fulfilled. The single has a every interesting mixture as all three tracks featured are different in music and feeling. While 'Aravesque' and S' satisfy all j-rock needs, 'aimless' has a french inspired melody which first sounds off compared to the other two but easily grows to you after a few listens. All in all, this single makes me want to hear more of him.
Definitely not what I expected. The title track is by far the best song on the single. The whole single seems a bit inconsistant. Not bad for a debut though,I have mixed feelings about it but overall I give it a B as a letter grade.
Juka is finally goes solo with his first single "Aravesque"! The title song is a wonderful song, I just loved it. The two other songs are also very pleasing to the ear. We all missed Juka's voice and I hope he would release a full-length album very soon! :-)
I love Juka. I have missed his voice of so much. X3 Aravesque is such a beautiful song. Everything about it is wonderful. S is a good rock song. I love growling. X3 Aimless reminds me of the old Gackt days of MALICE MIZER. ;3..... Which makes me happy..... I love Juka's voice.
Avaresque is a great song. Its a mix of neo-classical visual kei sounds. Juka's voice delivers. S is a nice heavy track that keeps your head banging. Aimless is a bit weak but its not bad. Plus their are instrumentals for all the songs. A most have for Juka fans.
