Whether its Tohoshinki's korean or japanese releases, I simply love all of them and 'T' is no exception. In fact, I seem to love the guys even more after enjoying this album. While the two CDs contain all the latest A sides plus new tracks (out of which only 'Last Angel' sounded strange, mainly because I'm too used to the version with Koda Kumi), the two DVDs contain music videos and concert clips. Especially the concert DVD is a must-have for any fan. Not only does it contain performances of 'Soul Power Tokyo Summit' and 'Premium Mini Live @ Yokohama Blitz', it also has a special edition of their 2nd tour 'Five in the Black' which really makes you want to buy the DVD if you haven't already.
T [2CD+2DVD / Jacket A] Customer Reviews
Dong Bang Shin Ki (Tohoshinki)
Because of the limited space that's given in this review, I'm just gonna say that this album is awesome. The boys were right when they said that this was their 'first real' Japanese album. Their pronunciation on words has improved so much and because they understand Japanese better than before, they are able to sing out more with their soul to the lyrics in the songs they sing. THIS VERSION (2CD+2DVD) IS A MUST GET. You'll understand when you buy this album. I don't only recommend this to Tohoshinki fans. That's how 'awesome' the album is. It's too bad the chart entry in the Oricon sales only went over 70k as of today, considering the amount of promotion avex put on these boys...
Tohoshinki's third album's cover design and lyrics booklet contain beautiful photos of the five members. The DVDs contain live footage from various past performances, and of their promotional videos released since their last album. The inclusion of the Japanese versions of "Beautiful Life" and "You're my miracle" are an extremely welcome addition on the second CD. The bonus additions aside: the CD itself seems somewhat lacking. I was hoping for more original tracks to be added to the CD, but it turned out to be dominated by most of their single releases and b-sides. The new tracks, like "TRICK", "NO?" etc. are good, yes, but not excellent, IMO. In a nutshell, the 2CD+2DVD version is a great buy, but it's the bonus tracks and DVDs that convinced me of this release's 4 star rating, else I would have given it 3 stars. A must buy for THSK fans, but for people looking for something new and not willing to spend on this version, the 1CD version would be a better choice - with the single releases and all - to be familiarized with their recent releases.
I must say that I have always liked TVXQ's korean releases more but this album was a very pleasant surprise. I liked pretty much every track in this album.A great addition to my collection! ^_^
Tohoshinki with their NEW Japanese album! i wouldn't say it's a long waited release because it's more or less expected since they have been releasing their singles almost every month! Overall it's really a good buy as the CDs feature tracks like Summer Dream, Shine, Day Moon and their latest uptempo single Purple Line, which are all very nice!! The DVD portion is nice as well including those the bonus clips. AND THE BEST PART~ it comes in nifty box form!! WOOOO! PS: Just a pity that the Purple Line PV is not included in the DVD. :(
I love their Darkness Eyes and Purple lines~~ it's amazing. Please support them. and the 2CD+2DVD version will include the Soul Power Tokyo Summit 2007, -TOHOSHINKI- 2nd LIVE TOUR ~Five in the Black~ Special Edition and PREMIUM MINI LIVE @YOKOHAMA BLITZ 2007.9.23 (First Press only) if that's the case~~ you should get this version TVXQ~~only 5~~forever
Finally, a release I am looking very forward to! Hearing Last Angel without Koda is much better and Rainbow is a song I could dance to, leaving my troubles behind. I cannot wait until my next paycheck to pre-order this version!
