Wonderful 5

I'm not a fan of Koda Kumi but this single is very good. I loved Kumi's voice in "Ai no Uta" and the face B is also good.

Koda Kumi's Love Song 5

This song called Ai no Uta, what means Love Song in english, not very original name for a song... huh... BUT let's talk 'bout the song itself, not it's name. Song composed by the man who composed KUU's WIND, Birthday Eve, girls & etc. This one his work sounds different from all his previous works, 1st - 'cause it's a ballad & 2nd 'cause it's more beautifull and gentle. BUT to be honest I was waiting for something more dramatic & powerfull like ~my favourite ballad~ Yume no Uta. Ai no Uta is softer, BUT it's very beautifull & the most strange thing that it's very-very catchy! It's not often, when you can call ballad catchy. Second song on Ai no Uta single is Come Over - catchy up-beat pop song like Puppy, unfortunatley there's no Music Video for it. Ai no Uta URBAN KISS Version comes with new arrangment and sounds pretty cool, also I should say that it's even more gentle then original version.

An Okay Single.... 3

While 'Ai no Uta' is such an overused title, it's still a good song. I haven't found an 'Ai no Uta' that comes to mind more than Aikawa Nanase's Ai no Uta ~Majenta Rein~. However, comparable to my other favourite ballads by Kuu: you, hands, yume no uta, etc I would still go out on a limb to say that Aisho is still a better ballad. Come Over is another catchy song, but over all Kuu is becoming as repetitive in her lyrics as Namie Amuro has been for the past 4 years. In some times you can't even get through the whole song without feeling the repetition become stale. I'm waiting for something more dynamic like before Best Second Session. If you listen to that CD, you will also notice the repetition of filled in "oooh yeah"s because she couldn't think of any other way to make the lyric work. Then again perhaps it is me maturing as a fan as I find myself drawn towards artists such as FictionJunction YUUKA and other artists that really pack a response from my emotions, inspiring me to do creative activities. If you really like Kuu, get the single, otherwise just wait for the album.

Very good ! 5

This ballad is not as powerful as ''Yume no Uta'' but is has got a very nice melody. ''Come Over'' is a nice dance pop / dance song with a style similar to ''girls''. Hurry up to get the first press edition ! 'Cause the remix version of ''Ai no Uta'' is even better than the original version !
