The bristle is very soft, you won't feel prick when using it on the face. I like the round shape design which I can whirl to blend the blush. As a highlighter brush it might be a bit of big. But the effect is still good.
B-H-01 Highlight & Cheek Brush / BISYODO Series / Goat Saikoho Customer Reviews
Makeup Brush
Entire line is so luxurious. They look and feel amazing. And perform perfectly too. This one applies highlight not very precisely so you don’t have to blend too much. It can also apply blush perfectly. I even use it to apply finishing powder on the center of the face. The length and density of the brush combined was genius.
The brush I received had many tiny scratches/cracks throughout the African rosewood handle. Very noticeable and hard to miss with my naked eye. And it seems their course of ramification was to use lots of wood putty to fill all the defective scratches and cracks and then slap on the lacquering. Except the shade of wood putty was the wrong color, much lighter than the rosewood and the clear lacquering only emphasized the flaws… I have many bisyodo brushes in my collection and none of them have this issue. If it was not for the rosewood handle and its beautiful esthetics I surely would not have bought this brush… Now working on a return for this defective handle brush only to find out their return process is a nightmare… yikes! Be aware! I learned the hard way, japanese quality is not always there!
I absolutely love Bisyodo brushes. The handles are so beautiful. They have a nice weight to them and the gold ferrule adds a special tough. The dyed saikoho goat hairs are very soft. In my opinion, the brush is reasonably priced for the quality. It can be used for blush, bronzer or highlight. It’s a great addition.
I normally use squirrel for powder and avoid dyed goat as I heard less soft than undyed but this particular brush is unique in that it is super silky! I use it for setting powder. Initially, just meant to powder t-zone as touch up but it has been great for whole face setting! I'm not a buffer so clearly this shape works for me for powder because I swirl and gently swipe. Also use for bronzer and love. No doubt great for highlighter but I only have cream highlighter so got this for the above reasons and it did not disappoint! This is my 5th Bisyodo brush in this line and I adore them all! Handles are stunning and the quality of the bristles seem to be a level above others of same hair grade! Could have fooled me this was goat...
Bisyodo has fast become one of my favourite Fude brands. This Cheek brush in dyed Goat hair is incredibly soft and so versatile. I can use it for blush and highlight, but also to set powder for undereye concealer. I've even managed to use it for finishing powder all over face. I consider this to be one of my most favourite brushes in my extensive brush collection!
This brush can be used for blush and contour and spot highlight. I think this brush is wonderful at blending out powder, and the hair is always high quality of Bisyodo brushes. Similar to Wayne goss 02, but I prefer this one more. 5 stars Bisyodo.
