I love this brush with any gel liner, I have a great control on the application, I manage a thin(ish) line. It is a soft and comfortable brush.

The hair is too fluffy. Brush gard can't make it stiff. It can't work as a eyeliner brush. Don't buy it.

This is another well-made brush from Koyudo. The bristles are very tiny (pay attention to the measurements) and come to a very fine point. I like it but I wish it were just a tad stiffer. I sometimes feel the bristles have a bit too much give. It gets the job done though.

This is a very good brush for detail work. You can get very close to the lash line and this brush works well with gel eyeliner (or dampened eyeshadow). Those that like a super thin line for eyeliner will love this brush. For me, I have a lot of lid space, so to get a thicker cat eye wing, it takes some patience as I have to fill in quite a bit. If you like a thicker cat eye wing, I would say you would get a faster application with a larger brush. However what I like best for this brush is inner corner eye liner and also lower lid liner (I have very fine short lashes on my lower lid and I can get a very subtle fine line with this there which I LOVE).

I was looking for a brush to smudge pencil liners when I bought this brush. It turns out to be smaller than expected, and it has too much give to smudge pencil liners. So I bought a different brush for that purpose, the C008. As for this BP043, I use it for shadow liner instead, and here it excels. On occasions, I have also used it for my brows and it's great there also.

Before I found this brush, it was always a struggle to apply shadow eyeliner, as most brushes were either too wide or too thick, and when they were the proper shape for my eyes, they were uncomfortably rough. This little brush is perfection! It is firm but soft, never pokey. The size and shape are ideal for detail work. I can't foresee myself needing any other shadow eyeliner, and will be purchasing backups of this gem.
