This is very soft brush. The brush picks enough blush product and distribute it without spots but evenly

This hair is very soft and comfortable when apply the powder on the face. I use it to apply cheek powder, it can blend it very well, but it won't spread to other area that I don't want to. It also can create pigment cheek effect even the bristle is very soft. The short handle make it easy to be portable.

Very soft but the animal stink is god awful. This one seems to be the worst of the Houkodou Brilliant Gold brushes I got. The odor wasn't very noticeable out of the box but after a wash... unbearable. I washed it two more times hoping it would improve, but no. Currently, it's being aired outside on the patio! Maybe I'll be able to use it next week? Or possibly, the next century.

This brush is smaller than I thought it would be, but it's very soft and beautiful. The size is perfect for the Hourglass face palettes. I use it for blush, but it can also be used for highlighter and contour. I've washed it a couple times and had no issues. Ordering from CD Japan was also a very pleasant and easy experience!

The brush head is beautiful, soft but with good density and nicely shaped. It is softer and slightly more airy than the Chikuhodo RC2 but not as soft and airy as the Chikuhodo Z-4. The only problem is that the ferrule is slightly flattened on one side near the bristles. A matte or black ferrule would have disguised this flaw a bit but since Houkodou uses a shiny gold ferrule, the flattened side is obvious to me. I've purchased numerous eye brushes from Houkodou and they have all been perfect but those were deliberately crimped near the bristles. I'll keep this brush because the flaw is relatively minor but I am not sure I will purchase the G-C5 which I thought would be my next purchase.

I bought this brush and the highlighter brush and they both of very good quality and super soft,great for pigmented blushes. The brush is small for precision applicatie. I use it for blush but can also for contouring or highlighting NO shedding. My HG brush.

I purchased this brush simply because I liked the shape and thought the price was reasonable for a squirrel brush. This was my first introduction into Houkodou brushes, and I was very curious to see how the quality compares to Chikuhodo, Koyudo, and Koyomo. For me, this brush is too small to use as a blush brush, but it makes a great highlighter brush. It's small enough to perfectly highlight the top of the cheekbones. The quality of the hair is lovely, as soft as Chikuhodo Z series, and I like the design of the handle. I enjoyed this brush so much that I ordered a few more Houkodou Brilliant Gold series brushes to try!

the dome shape hair is great for blush and even bronzer application. it is small but good for precise application. the hair is of course very soft and the gold black design is stunning!

This quality brush is well made, great size beautiful and incredibly soft . The density of this brush is perfect . Its my daily multi-Brush ,easy application i use it for Blushing and contouring .
