Because I don't have any kolinsky bristle brush, so I'd like to give it a try and choose this one. As I expected, the hair is a bit of stiff. I thought the effect of eye shadow application should be more pigmented than my other squirrel or goat hair brush, but it turns out not good..I'm not sure if it's because the suqqu eye shadow or the hair itself...Maybe I should give it another chance with other brand of eye shadow and see how it works.

I love that it’s affordable for kolinsky hair! It is thinner than the Bisyodo so this is perfect for me for the inner corner shimmers. I love both and both have a place in my routine!

This is a brush that I use a lot when I use pearl eye shadow. It's more comfortable, hygienic, and good than if I had to do it with my hands. The size also fits Asian eyes. If you like to apply pearl eye shadow in the middle of your eyes, I highly recommend it.

Very soft brush. Didn’t expect that at all. But still applies eye shadow beautifully. The size was perfect for my small eyes. I’ve also used it for concealer and it worked well for that too.

Firm and smooth, the bristle is not prickly at all. I have sensitive eyes but it feels so soft on my eyelids. I intended to use it to apply concealer, but now I think it's also suitable for applying under eye shadow. It's a great brush. Houkodou makes the best brushes, with delicacy and fine craftsmanship. It fills the gap, if you own G-S1 or G-S2 (or both), it is the one that can apply most targeted as well as be used for outer V, lower and upper lashlines, easily. Can be used damp. Does not irritate or scratch the skin.

This is the perfect brush to pick up and apply shimmer shades opaquely and with precision to the eyelid. I highly recommend this. Being that it is made of Kolinsky, one can really see the difference in application.

soft but firm brush firmer than the squirrel brush. Great for laydown de eyeshadow on the lid or in the crease and blending. firm enough to line the under lash line.Very good quality.

Love this small brush. Bristles are firm but soft. I use it to apply outer eyelid eyeshadow. As well as cut crease as I have got hooded eye.
