Top notch from start to finish. Do yourself a favour and buy the album (or ask Santa nicely?). Kawaii, yet brutal, is probably a good way to describe their sound. I'm a happy boy.

These girls start off on the right foot, proving that they are a band of young ladies willing to take on any major band. Its sound with a powerful base of Metalcore mixed with musical elements of different genres such as Melocore, Loud rock, Denpa music, Rap and whatever else they want to add to it in the future, is something enough outside of the schemes that is already considered a new musical genre. Some people call it Harajukucore, considering the aesthetics that the girls wear in their videos and live performances (characteristic of that area). Rating for album: 10/10 And excited about how these young talents will evolve.

I recently discovered HANABIE through my love for other Japanese idol groups and rock bands. These girls are hardcore talented. Yukina is the main vocalist who can go from clean vocals to death growls like it is the easiest thing in the world to do (and she holds her own alongside the best of them). Matsuri's guitars are classic metal riffing (she also serves as a main vocalist between Yukina's verses). Hettsu holds down the bottom end with her bass lines (and sings backing vocals). Sae (relatively new to the band as a permanent member) holds it all together with her pounding drums. The album is full of songs that rock hard from start to finish. Production is nice and clean, too. Definitely a "must-have" for anyone who loves the current Japanese music scene!
