The bristles are very soft and pleasant to the touch, perfect for applying color lightly and blending effortlessly. It's a fairly large eye brush, so it works best for quick, single eyeshadow looks or for applying product to larger areas.
T-6 Eye Shadow Brush L / Chikuhodo Takumi Series / Goat Saikoho Customer Reviews
Makeup Brush
This brush is kind of unique, it's truly big eyeshadow brush, big and full and strong. I usually use it for baked or hard pressed highlighter, or for presized cream contouring, like contouring nose or to any detailed makeup work. I never use this brush for eyeshadow, but I could,of course, for one and done shadow application. I don't have any other brush with the same size and functionality, so I'm not regret buying.
quite alright brush. I bought this brush to apply blushers that has hard texture hard to pick up with squirrel, or the cream cheek. For this use, it's alright but not the best. I think buying kolinsky was a better idea for this purpose. Though, still has a soft bristles.
I wasn’t sure about this brush. It’s a very large eyeshadow brush and I have small eyes. It’s very good for sweeping colour over the eye but I wasn’t loving it. After a little experimentation I have now changed my mind. I have discovered it’s a great multi-tasker. I can use it to highlight my face, set my under eye, apply concealer, you could even use it to contour your nose if so inclined. Now that I have discovered different uses for this brush I love using it.
yes its the Quinn, soft soft on the eyes very quick to lay in one swipe what ever you want, very good for highlight contour and to set with powder under the eyes.
This is a popular brush for good reason. It's a true multitasker: I like to use this for targeted powdering such as under the eyes or at my T-zone. It's meant to be a large eyeshadow brush so it can be used as an all over eye shader for eyeshadow base especially for those with larger eyes. I've also used it for targeted highlighter. For anyone with small features like me, this is a a multifunctional brush and you'll put it to good use. The only thing is that the goat hair is not as soft as Hakuhodo. I think Hakuhodo's goat hair is softer but this is still very soft, not scratchy. Highly recommended.
I've been in search for a natural undereye concealer brush and entered the T3. I love that this brush is dense yet soft and can handle liquid concealer. Will definitely be repurchasing another one.
Okay, now I get why everyone loves this little guy. Super, duper soft and a real treat to use. I got it for cream contouring....and it's perfection.
I am a huge fan of the Chikuhodo Takumi Series and this brush just doesn't disappoint. I use it for setting undereye powder, sweeping my eyelids with a wash of matte eyeshadow as well as for contouring my nose area. It also performs well for highlight. I like this so much that I am planning to buy at least 2 more of it as backups.
I use this brush to contour my nose and sculpt my cheeks. It is as soft as my other goat hair brushes and does precise contour nicely!
I got a Chikuhodo T6 with a flaw in the handle and several upside-down bristles in 2016. The cdjapan first told me that I could send the parcel back to them with my own money and then they will give me the "reward points" for the shipping fee. I didn't like the way they suggested. And then they told me they could give me a discount of 500 reward points if I kept the defective item. The Chikuhodo T6 is sold for 3500 yen. I didn't want to waste my money for shipping and bundle me with buying more from the cdjapan, possibly more defective items(unfortunately it became the truth), so I chose 500 points. If you got defective items, I suggest you bargain for more compensation as cdjapan usually sell defective items with 20%-40% off. I couldn't give five stars for this one as I hoped for delight with buying the expensive brush but I was not able to be happy with a defective one.
Just LOVE that lusciously-softness when i swipe or tap it on my eyelids for base eyeshadow, as finishing eyeshadow brush using powder or creamy eyeshadow, or even as contour or highlighting brush. Ain't no matter if u got smaller eyelids if u just wana enjoy that softness feeling when putting on makeup.
This brush did not blow me away. I got it because I'd read rave reviews about it's softness and efficiency. Yeah it's a soft brush for goat hair but you can still tell it's goat and not squirrel or something. Also it's a gigantic brush for use on the lids and it is a multi tasker because of its size. You could use it for highlight and I use it for setting my under eyes although I have other brushes that do the same thing without the hefty price tag. I just haven't found the best use for it which is why I feel bad rating it less than 4 stars (I'm sure some will disagree with me and say it deserves the full five). Also the white hairs stain easily and personally I just don't like that. I will try it more with some cream products but I doubt I'm going to fall in love with this anytime soon.
I bought this brush because I am forever attracted to eye brushes and while purchasing other brushes from Chikuhodo, this brush caught my eye! It is a beautiful brush that is fairly large and can be used as a finishing brush or a blending brush. It offers good resistance for cream eyeshadows and due to its robust quality, it offers precise control. This in no way means that it is harsh on the skin! No, this is truly soft on the skin and feels quite refined and precise! Give the takumi series a try if you haven't I find them to be stand out products in their category!
This is not only an eyeshadow brush but also a good highlighter brush for me. It applys highlight precisely and also blends seamlessly. It is perfect for spot powdering as well. A great multitasker.
This is a wonderful fluffy blending brush. It is large, larger than a MAC 217. It could be used to set under eye concealer with powder, or to add small highlight on the cheeks. It is very versatile and extremely well made and lovely to use.
If you are looking for quality, design, softness and efficiency in a Make-Up brush, look no further...The Chikuhodo Takumi Series incorporates all of the above. Made with top quality Saikoho goat hair, the brushes are among the softest goat brushes I own which lend very well to both application and blending of make-up products be it cream, liquid or powder. Coming to this brush, the T6 is one of the most unique and multipurpose brushes I have ever used. It is classified as an Eye Shadow brush but it is quite large and thus can possibly be best used for an all over base application on the eyelid. I think it makes for a great face brush for setting concealer, highlighting cheek bones, contouring, powdering smaller areas of the face like the T-zone, etc. Personally I use it to set under eye concealer - the pointed tip allows you to go in the inner corner easily, the density of the brush is moderate so it is good to dust a fine layer of powder and the softness is perfect for the sensitive eye area.
Love this soft and fluffy white goat hair! Its good to apply eye shadow to the entire lid and blend them out. Its also excellent to apply highlights to areas of face.
I bought this brush because of the White bristle and the brush is very soft to my eyelid. I also like using it for setting my undereye concealer
beautifully made, soft. multi-functional: can be used for eyeshadow blending or sculpting. very soft and pretty
