I always prefer large powder brush than small one. FO-9 is not just large but also more fluffy due to its character of fox hair which makes it more comfortable when apply the powder on the skin. Besides, the ability of taking or releasing the powder is also good. It does help me to apply setting powder quick and easily. One thing to note is the hair seems a bit of prick after I washed it one time, but it doesn't bother me too much.
This brush cemented my love for fox hair brushes. It is very dense and yet so soft. It fluffed a lot after wash and can cover the face quick for a fast and light coverage of powder on the face; it builds up powder coverage not to slow or too fast. Perfect for a sensitive face. I wouldn’t use this for buffing though. For that a Rephr 22 in a similar shape and size but goat hair would work
I have almost all FO brushes except new one FO-10. This FO-9 powder brush very soft, ideal for loose powder. I never had brushes made from silver fox bristle, feels so luxury and beautiful made. I am very happy that I made decision to purchase this brush.
I have almost all the FO series brushes but this one is my favourite by far! As soon as I saw it launched on CD Japan I bought it and I am so glad I did! It is all I wanted the FO1 to be. Its longer and denser hairs splay perfectly and glide so well on the skin. I love to use it for setting and finishing powder. It's just amazing!
So soft and resilient, as described. Love this big fluffy brush. This brush feel so luxe on the face.
