The 14 volumes makes me smile whenever i look at them, what a pleasure to have the complete first part of the series in my collection! The product arrived in a great condition, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. great value for a decent price.

Tokyo Ghoul is an amazing series, and I can go on for hours about its characters, motifs, story, etc. Due to constraints in space, and consideration for you sanity, I won't. However, the series gets top marks from me. By far, if you can read Japanese decently well, this is the best value you'll find for the series. Even accounting for ridiculous shipping, it's cheaper than buying all the English translations. Anyway, all the volumes have come out in Japanese. The product arrived in great condition, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Overall, more than worth what I paid.

I bought mines in April of 2015 and is now writing my review. LOL. The package arrived safely and I did SAL shipping. It was worth the wait and the books came in new condition. I have looked through all the pages and found nothing wrong or defective. The 14 part volumes can make you smile all day. It is just too bad I can't read Japanese, but it does not change the fact how much I love the Tokyo Ghoul universe. If anyone is debating whether to buy or not, is up to them. I say, it is a better buy than to buy the japanese manga individually. The manga is or course smaller than the U.S. Viz Signature version, but overall, to have all 14 volumes is the greatest feeling ever. Please continue to love the Tokyo Ghoul universe and especially, Ishida Sui-sensei.

So, full disclosure: I am completely obsessed with Tokyo Ghoul. So, y'know, of course I'd buy this set. This is basically a giant chocolate cake to me. I could not resist. And here's why: I now have this entire set sitting right beside my bed. This incredible story, half an arm's length away. That is such a luxury. We live in an amazing world. I'm thrilled to finally be able to directly support my favorite mangaka. This man deserves all the love and respect we can throw at him, omg. I just. <3 I'm also excited because I'm currently learning Japanese, and there's no better way to learn than by doing something you enjoy. Context helps as well. So I can really get lost in this and use it to help with my kanji. Obviously arrived in excellent condition, ready to be read and loved for the rest of my natural life. Please support this amazing artist and storyteller!
