This is an amazing live performance of the ever-expanding amount of MdM songs . . . pity that Juka, and Tohru left immediately after these performances. K is a true performer, with a lot of good energy and a crowd connection that seemed to be missing from the past DVD. However, about halfway through, despite K's addition of vocals, it gets tiresome hearing Juka go "Bwaaaaagh" for every loud song. High price, but essential investment.
Europe Tour 2005 - Invite to Immorality - DVD [Regular Edition] Customer Reviews
Moi dix Mois
Amazing concert! I so like the Juka`s voice and his manner of the performance. Very nice backstage scenes ^___^
An excellent live release on their tour through Europe. The European fans are lovely (hehe, that's us =D). So what sets this apart from the previous Dix Infernal DVD? Well, songs from two albums plus a "new" song, Unmoved, from Beyond The Gate. It's filmed in Europe, not in Japan. And the addition of guitarist/grunter K is very good. Not only is the sound more varied, it's also a lot more powerful with two guitars and two voices. To me, there's a lot more energy in this than in their previous DVD, so I really recommend this one! I couldn't sit still during Night Breed.
Great concert. Parts of it was bad quality but most of it was really good quality. I prefer the Dix Infernal dvd.
The second DVD tour from Moi dix Mois (the Mana Project). Incredible from Europe fans. hahahahahahaha.
This new live release of Moi dix Mois is really good and surprising. Though Juka's performance is not as good as it sounds on studio works, the band did a really good job, giving an extra dimension to the songs. The new vocalist and guitarist K is also a nice musicians who makes the whole concert more entertaining thanks to his powerful attitude on stage. The bonus contents for this DVD are also quite good and interesting (definately a better job compared to the previous DVD).
On this DVD you get to see Moi dix Mois live in Paris. You get to see Mana, Juka, K, Kazuno and Tohru play most of the songs from before "Beyond the Gate" (expect Unmoved, which you will hear in a slightly unfinished version, but its still great), and as a bonus you get to see the last concert with Juka before he left the project (And he's got blond hair (omg)). Even though it would have been nice with a couple of more features, it delivers what it promises-
The dvd contains mana's concerts in Geramny, France, and Japan. All worth watching if your a moi dix mois or malice mizer fan. I'm just waiting for him to come to America where there are more fans waiting to see him. The concerts contains songs from his first and second cd and some photoage of him in France somewhere. It's worth the price and enjoyable to watch.
My favorite of the two DVDs available from Moi Dix Mois. With more variety in the music than just songs from Dix Infernal, there isn't a sense repetitiveness and the concert will keep you entertained the whole way through. Juka's antics on stage are very adorable, Mana is amazing as always, Kazuno is as entertaining as usual and K is absolutely WONDERFUL. A lot of wonderful energy in this! Shame it was the end of Tohru, Kaz, and Juka.
