BUY their albums in SHM-CD or BLU-SPEC 4

I have DON'T LOOK BACK in BLU-SPEC and I have also ordered their first album in BLU-SPEC , as well. BLU-SPEC sounds just as great as SHM-CDs , do. I have never heard their album DON'T LOOK BACK sound so crisp , clean and clear. I have own every version of this album out there. The BLU-SPEC version is by far the best. My search is over. SACDs are on the way out so you may never get those albums in that format. You don't need it with SHM-CDs and BLU-SPEC CDs that can be played on any CD player.

Beautifully done Mini Lp 5

Enough has been written about this super album so I will not go into details. This album is beautifully done in mini lp format and is a must for all mini lp lovers of classic rock. The vocals of Brad Delp will sorely be missed. Hope Japan will re-release Third Stage and Rtz - Return to zero & Lost cds in mini lp format.

CLASSIC MUST HAVE ALBUM 5

Say what you will, there is not a bad cut on this classic rock album If you wonder what happened to great rock music, it got smothered by grunge and never came back. Boston made some fine music, and this is the finest of their releases

Boston's Best Just Got Better! 4

Hard to believe but we've had 30 years of "More Than A Feeling" already! And to commemorate this occasion, we now have a "remastered" mini-lp sleeve replica version of Boston's best album which should also rank among the best ever debut albums of the 70s as well. The packaging is a work of art as it very faithfully follows the original vinyl packaging down to the last detail but that's not where the fun stops; in addition to the insert with the lyrics in both English and Japanese, we also get 12-page colour booklet with very amusing liner notes written by none other than Tom Scholz himself! And now the not-so-good points: the album has been remastered but the sound quality is still not that great. Many of the tracks sound pretty muddy and way below what you'd expect from remastered cds given today's technology. Still, I've heard worse and I guess if you don't already have this and if you are a fan of mid-70s classic rock, this is probably the best version of the album that's out there right now.

Boston 4

What can you say about this album that hasn't alread been said. The remastering by Tom is superior to any other version and the artwork is faithfully reproduced.

Classic album given Classic treatment!! 5

The debut album by Boston gets a sonic makeover that is superb. Always a great record in the days of vinyl, this CD remaster sounds incredible! As usual, the good folks in Japan have done a spectacular job with the cardboard sleeve; looking at and holding this CD transports me back to 1976! Worth every penny for this one!!!
