I enjoyed listening to this cd! In this cd, Hyde's shows how soft is voice can be! This cd offers a different style from his other cds which is great! The cover art of this cd is also very pretty! I will look forward to Hyde's next work! Thank you!

I'm a huge HYDE fan and generally I love anything he creates but this album is a real masterpiece. Unfortunately, there are no Roentgen limited both in English and Japanese on cdjapan anymore so it took me much time to find them. Anyway, regular or limited, this album is a must-have

Quite a nice and atmospheric album this is, the English version of Roentgen. It's a lot less loud and rocky than 666 or Faith, but that gives it its own special charm. Oasis is an example of a song I really dig on this album. I was a little afraid this was going to be one of those piano/vocal albums, but I'm satisfied.

The film Last Quarter was my very first introduction to Hyde, though I'd heard of his band L'arc en Ciel. I fell madly in love with the song 'The Cape of Storms' and was determined to find it no matter what. Roentgen was the result and very well worth it. Hyde's voice reminds me of David Sylvian, the frontman for 80's art-wave group Japan (interesting that). It has that same smoky, sultry jazzy quality. This is perfect listening to wind down and savor the remains of the day. It's also the perfect CD to share with your significant other. My favourite tracks outside of 'The Cape of Storms' (which would be perfectly at home on any adult contemporary music station) are 'Unexpected'; 'Oasis'(great for a moonlight tango); 'A Drop of Colour' and 'Secret Letters'. The reprise of 'Angel's Tale' is awesome and takes one back to the days of understated cocktail clubs. I have Hyde's two following CDs and each has their own special character. This is another extremely talented and versatile musician who deserves more exposure worldwide. Then again, he's like a precious secret who can only be appreciated by those who love great music regardless of language and/or culture.

This album is pretty good. Hyde's music differs from what he did before, there is no rock, all songs are very gentle and pleasent to hear.

AN AMAZING CD, PLENTY OF BEAUTIFUL LYRICS AND IT SHOWS TO US A POETIC SIDE OF HYDE. EVEN THOUGH HIS ENGLISH IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND SOMETIMES (LOOK WHO IS TALKING)...JEJE... IT'S STILL ENJOYABLE. I LOVE THIS ALBUM, A LOT!!!! ES FANTASTICO Y BELLO (IT'S AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL). I RECOMMEND IT. I'M SURE YOU FALL IN LOVE OF IT AND OF THE SINGER TOO, NO DOUBT =D

This album is absolutely lovely. Hyde never ceases to amaze me with brilliant lyrics and gorgeous music one can almost see. Worth every penny.

This album takes you through a journey entirely composed of HYDE inner feelings. A collection of soft and sentimental songs that shows us a glimpse of HYDE's more child-like and innocent persona who has been, until now, painted over by Tetsu's governing in L'arc~en~Ciel. Sensitive and delicate, this is a must-buy album for anyone who enjoys music. Be warned, however, this is not a "Rocking-out in the car with my friends" album. But still beautiful either way.

Man, this CD is a wonderful CD. My friend has it and now here I am about to buy it for myself, finally.

Hyde has a wonderful softer, "poetic" side, as is shown in ROENTGEN. Both the original japanese version and the english are absolutely wonderful, though my personal preference lays with the english, if only because Hyde has some of the most adorable engrish.

This is a good CD to get for no reason. If you are curious what the lyrics are in English and how HYDE sounds while singing them, then this is for you. Definately worth the price.
