I have listened to many L'Arc-en-Ciel songs and albums and have to write this the BEST album ever made by them! Every song is just perfection. As a musician and singer and just overall lover of L'Arc-en-Ciel and their music, I'm just blown away by the Kiss album. My favorite songs have to be "My Heart Draws A Dream", and "Suna Dokei" which is just pure MAGIC. The guitar, drums and bass working together (especially in the beginning) with hyde's lovely voice just is amazing. I cannot get enough of that song! Other great songs include "Seventh Heaven", "Alone en La Vida" and "Daybreak's Bell" (even though I am not a fan of the series) I just LOVE this song! Over all, I could not find a song I did not like. I love them all!

L'Arc never ceases to amaze me. I can't really find a bad song on this album. The songs have such a diverse range of styles, yet they are all really wonderful. My favorites are sunadokei, spiral, ALONE EN LA VIDA, and umibe. However, I love all of them. If you like/love L'Arc buy this album. If you are looking for more bands to listen to, buy this album. L'Arc is my favorite band and I have seen them live, so maybe I am a little biased.

This album shows that L'Arc~en~Ciel is still very much alive; even though some fans agree that they haven't produced anything interesting since the Shibuya 7 Days. I recommend this to anyone fan of Japanese music or just people who enjoy melodic and alternative rock in general. My favorite tracks are ALONE EN LA VIDA, yuki no Ashiato, MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM, but really they are all great

Amazing as expected :D A lot of the new songs are very powerful! I really enjoy ALONE EN LA VIDA, but each song is great in it's own way.

(music/lyrics) 1. 2. Pretty girl(ken) Pretty darn cool brass going on. Beach-party rock'n'roll kind of song! Lower vocals... Normally hyde does high, screamy kind of singing for these songs... Watch the lyrics. 3. 4. Sunadokei (tetsu) Very pretty! Starts soft then blossoms, then again. Fades sweetly on the phrase, "Kami no sabaki made..." 5. spiral (yukihiro) FUN SONG. Great beat, as expected. Guitar in the chorus makes me giddy. Perfect, something for Laruku to be proud of. 6. ALONE EN LA VIDA (ken/hyde) Beautiful. Guitarwork is amazing, melody and vocals flawless... Best song. Ever. 7. 8. Umibe (tetsu/hyde) hyde croons the verse, but sings the chorus powerfully. tetsu never fails, of course. Great track. 9.THE BLACK ROSE(hyde) Harder rock from Laruku. Stands out after softer Umibe. Could do without the piano intro. 10. LINK -KISS Mix- Subtle differences from the original. Uses ending used in lives, rather than fading out... The guitarwork is different too. I prefer the single version. 11. Yuki no Ashiato (ken/hyde) ken is shock. Such beautiful work this album. I want to hear this song. Again, again, again... all the time. hyde hits the high notes easily. I wonder why this isn't the end track? 12.

KISS is fantastic!!! The new disc of L'Arc-en-Ciel in two years is fabolous. With Themes as ALONE EN LA VIDA (my favorite of KISS), Umibe, Daybreak's Bell, Pretty Girl is really one of the my disk favourite of Laruku.

Another masterpiece since Real (I do like Smile and Awake but they have no comparison with this album *0*) and what else I can say, this is what everybody was waiting from them, new rocking songs like: pretty girl, yuki no ashiato, alone en la vida, the black rose and obviously the singles that are all great!! Good job L'Arc!! we hope to see works like this in a near future (because notice that Byebye and Shine weren't included)

ok,for me this is their best album since their return on 2003. It has awesome melodies (ok, I don't like Seventh Heaven, but the rest are awesome *w*) and awesome lyrics, and it's not pop-ish at all. Special mention to pretty girl (R-rated lyrics xD),Alone en la vida (they say three words in spanish... yay~! *0*) and sunadokei n_____n The first press package is very cute, a bit uncomfortable to see the pictures, but lovely overall *--*

as i was expecting, this is another exceptional release from the guys. i just wish they could have included more songs coz it was way too short, and more ken-chan solos...but it was worth every cent. this is a must buy for all old fans and a great starter for newer ones. i recommend tracks like alone en la vida, pretty girl, umibe and yuki no ashiato. these songs just blew me away. overall this is a gorgeus album, i can't say anything more...omedetto laruku!

KISS is a showcase of L'arc's great composing skills, and seriously, I love this album. SEVENTH HEAVEN immediately sets the mood with it's energetic tune. Next in line is Pretty Girl, an extremely fun song which shouts "KEN" all over, and it's lyrics would make you pervy xD After Pretty girl is MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM, which is personally my favourite single that is on the album. It's an extremely beautiful song~ Next is my favourite song on the album, Sunadokei. It's a gorgeous ballad with a great chorus. Spiral is a mind blowing song by Yuki, which is so far Yuki's best song. Alone en la vida is a great song by Ken which sets the mood perfectly. After that is DAYBREAK'S BELL, which has an awesome bassline, and it's one of my favourite songs. Umibe is next, where Hyde's smexy singing will make you replay the song over and over again. After which, The Black Rose rock beats totally shout "HYDE", and Link will bring up the "happyhappy" mood again. A last ballad called Yuki no Ashiato by Ken, and finally, Hurry Xmas ends of f the album. KISS is an extremely good album which shows L'arc's awesomeness, and it's a must buy for all.

kya!! so happy with the album!! as expected fron laruku they never disappointed me ever!! i like all the songs specially pretty girl, umibe, sunadokei and alone en la vida!! ofcourse we can never forget about daybreak's bell and my heart draws a dream!! i'm really overwhelmed with the album!! i'll be expecting more from them next year ofcourse!! mabuhay laruku!!

I'm a great fan of l'arc en ciel, and purchased many of their albums. This album alone is a fantastic work of them, there is innovation, different melodies created different from before, like "alone en la vida", "umibe" and "hurry xmas". But as a work with deep impression I feel that this album was slightly weak in comparison with their past works. Don't get me wrong, this is a great album overall with unexpected melodies, but as something to listen over and over again over a prolonged period of time, I think I'm gonna stick to "ray" and "real".

KISS is a collection of awesome songs, showcasing each member's talent in composing.It begins with one of hyde's "wierd song series" as Yukie put it,"SEVENTH HEAVEN".It might not be the best song,but it works well as album opener. It gives this"let the party started feel".It might fool you as a dance tune at first but there is this hyde's classic rock style singing/rythms underneath it.Then we have"Pretty Girl",Ken'sdirty rock n'roll song which is too short for being awesome.My heart.,a classic L'arc style that we all love jumps in later.Not enough of ballads?You will have tetsu's "Sunadokei" with extremely catchy chorus.The arrangment of the song is just awesome.Yukie's turn is next.His song "Spiral" really blew my mind.The drumming and rythms are amazing and not being a typical l'arc style makes it very refreshing. Alone en La vida wants me to worship Ken & more worshipping Ken for the greatness that Daybreak's bell is.Too much of Ken?We got tetsu now with Umibe in which hyde's voice will blow you away."Black Rose"just screams hyde.It pumps up the mood with sax/drums/rock.Then,a quick switch to happy-mood with Link.A beautiful ballad Yuki. & HX give very nice ending.BRAVO L'ARC!!
