Take an energetic singer and a set of great songs and you have a wonderful album. I love the rock aspect of this album. I have just started listening to it, but "Pierrot" is my favorite song on the disc. Of course this is the first song I herd by Aya. A great song I listen to over and over. But "Kizu Darake De mo Dakishimete" is just as good, also on the top of my play list along with, "Bounce, Bounce, Bounce," and the title song all very good. Aya Kamiki has a beautiful voice and if you have not heard her you should, if you have only heard of her, buy this album. You will hunger for more.

First heard of Aya Kamiki when I was searching for information on the band Pierrot which I at the time just discovered. I loved her version of Pierrot and found some clips on-line and next thing I know I own all of her albums (singles are excluded). She is a great artist if you love the female voice and a bit of a lighter rock style. There are plenty of great songs here and not a single bad one, but I think Change the World is my favorite!

I liked Aya's overall performance in the album. Although there were those defects here and there, Aya did a pretty good job. I suggest this album to those who are willing to give Aya a try.

This is a good first album from Aya Kamiki. The music is a kind of pop and rock hybrid. The strongest song on the album is her cover of B'z "Pierrot," with which she does a very good job. Much of the other music is a little bit too mechanical sounding, lacking complexity and emotion. A lot of this can be attributed not only to the arrangement, but also the mix. Technically, it could be a bit more polished. Aya's vocals stand out a bit, needing some reverb, processing or even some simple harmony vocals to back her. What the album does have is catchy melodies and Aya's voice is quite good. Giza has a another quality artist to add to their ranks. Now they just need to invest a bit more into the production process for her. With this album, she's proven herself worthy of such investment.
