I have loved this song ever since I saw the video and now I have it! Muwahhahhah! In my opinion, its their best song. The other two songs on this single are also good.

With the flow of time the band RENTRER EN SOI has gracefully transcended into each style of music they have adapted. I think this new single PROTOPLASM is a fine example of the revolution of self and music that the band strives to express through their music. On all fronts this is by far the most elaborately and thoughtfully composed work in the history of RENTRER EN SOI. The vocal variety is simply stunning. An all around heartstopping single. It's a must buy!

On the first track, beautiful and tortured voice coupled with a powerfull rock and violins effects. You feel so many emotions with this song, it can make you cry very easily. A great jobe have been done on this song. The two other tracks are remixed and are very very good too, in particular the one with the sea sound and the voice which is cut sometimes, like an old cd or a ghost voice; and the gun shot at the end. Rentrer en Soi always do a good job and this single is in the right line. The music is powerfull and moving. It's very special too but I think it's one of the strong point of the band. It's unusual and beautifull. Please support Rentrer en Soi! We want more of those wonderful songs.

A very unexpected yet amazing release by this band! RENTRER EN SOI does not disappoint with this three track masterpiece. Both remixes on the release are quite good, but the highlight is the title track: PROTOPLASM. I highly recommend this not only to long-time fans of the band, but also newcomers, because to me, PROTOPLASM is their best song yet.
